If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

P-wiki has a page on the Paragon Rewards Program.
Apparently, the "meter" along the side of the Rewards Tree page is supposed to tell you what bonus rewards you get at each level. But I also have not seen the "unlocks" mentioned in any of the popups.
Somewhere, in the pile of Dev/Community posts, there is a breakdown... might even be in one of the patch notes. But until the forums are fixed (hopefully tomorrow), I'm not inclined to go digging.

Two more things you lose by dropping to Premium - some number of character slots and access to HEATs and VEATs. Both can be bought back with points, though.
You can't see the unlocks on the Rewards tree unless you're Premium, which is mildly annoying.
VIPs don't get a list of the unlocks in the popups, since they are granted all of those unlocks for free by being a VIP.
Open a free or premium account to see all of the things Paragon Rewards actually unlocks from within the game.
I think it's kind of stupid for them not to show on the VIP popups, since those things are still unlocked by being Tier X, regardless that you're currently subscribed (they should not assume that you will never unsubscribe).

And I agree.... there is a certain arrogance in the assumption that information isn't needed/desired simply because of account status.
It should be available regardless of account status.

For the most part, other than certain powersets, the only things that VIPs get that are not unlocked for premium play via the rewards tree (by tier 8 being completed) are :
1 - Epic ATs but you can buy an unlock in the market
2 - Incarnate System is VIP only no IFs/Ands/Buts
3 - Ditto about SG registrar access (Create/pay rent on a base, create an SG). You can have a VIP member pay rent however. Everything else for SGs is open (including base editing unless they change that later)

Two things I never see mentioned as being lost on going Premium are X amount of in game storage (recipes, salvage, market, vault) and customer service.

EDIT: The Side-by-Side Comparison Chart on the main website lists what VIP players get as "Premium In Game Customer Support".

I've been told that because I've been a player for so long (Tier 8 VIP), that when my subscription expires next year I'll still have access to Mission Architect, Inventions, purchasable ATs (e.g., Controllers, Masterminds), etc. -- basically everything except Signature Arcs and Incarnate content.
But where can I actually see this for a fact? I was looking at the Paragon Rewards tree, and I don't see anything there that says I'm getting all these things. Is there somewhere else I can look to confirm this? |

I let my main account lapse and i can still not only play my existing warshade (after unlocking the slot), but i can still create new veat/heats as well.
I'm not sure what enabled it for me but i am certain i didn't purchase them in the Freedom store.
EDIT:
The time manipulation powerset that is free for VIP does get locked behind a purchase once you become premium.
Also, i still see the Tier9 VIP only paragon reward celestial armor in the costume editor as a premium. You get to keep that as long as you spent paragon reward tokens to claim them before dropping. You don't even have to have an alt using it prior to dropping.
Oh, you also lose the option to hide the store icon...guess they don't want you to forget you can spend money here hehe.
