Optional mission objectives in Admiral Sutter TF?
Actually, I'd love to know this too, what is the point of the two optional missions?
They dont seem to do anything. Not only that, to echo the OP..I have never even found the fuel lines you are supposed to take out. Also, the warwork power generators inside the final ship (first mission) do nothing at all..the WWs still attack with them blown up.
Yeah that TF is a bit of a head scratcher. Maybe I just missed something. I really don't enjoy running it. Not a fun feel to the whole thing. We get stuck with Praetorian enemies again and pretty blah environment.
Why not make something more epic. Space ships on an alien environment with wild new enemies. This TF lacks a lot of imagination. The main art asset looks like something out of Waterworld.
I've only run this when it was/is the WST.

And those glowies are the SMALLEST glowies ever seen. In terms of game scale, they are probably about 10-12 inches tall and quite narrow. It's very easy to overlook them.

Plus I'm pretty sure they're saving that whole "Another alien race invades" thing for the Coming Storm, yo.
Hi, everybody,
we just did the Admiral Sutter TF and I was wondering: In the first mission, there are two mission objectives that are marked "(optional)". What are they for?
I can imagine that the crew of the USS Donald Cook was rather glad that we helped save their ship, but I couldn't find anything about the eight fuel lines we were supposed to close.
Does anybody know if closing all of them has any effect in the mission? Perhaps the portal spawn rate gets reduced by closing the lines? Does it do anything at all?
Thanks for any information on this,
