With the Earth/Fire dominator spike the damage is coming from fossilize and Blaze. When they revamped PvP they gave control powers (most of the time) a large boost in damage (in PvP) to account for the lower control durations and such. Just grabbing some numbers from Red Tomax real quick, Fossilize does 160 base damage in PvP (smashing) and Blaze does 120+the ticks (fire), so most of the spike will be smashing damage.
I think the guy that started the thread was just looking for a fun zone build with which to pvp. Km/reg, KM/elec, and Km/fire should all be fine.
The earth/fire dominator lineup is currently the best being used for the pvp league. The league bans a number of powers, including all incarnates except alpha, and doesn't use travel suppression or heal decay. I don't think it's a relevent concern for someone who is looking to just do zone and some occasional duels.

You have some sort of mental disability that prevents you from grasping simple truths. In zone, each of those builds will perform reasonably well. Each might be marginally better than the other in certain circumstances. Who the hell cares about how they will face against an arena lineup they will likely never see? Last time I checked, scrappers weren't even that welcome in kickballs. Be my guest, blather on about it at great length if you think it makes you sound intelligent.

You died more on a stalker in those matches than I even thought was possible. The two times I remember we made you stay close and follow the plan, we won in practice. But it's immensely difficult to get you to stay, probably due to your penchant for calling distant targets off on the horizon.
You definitely screwed the team in the second official with Exile because you didn't want to get farmed by Gunrock's fort. That's the only reason we switched and it was all you.
I'm not a great blaster but I blasted in pretty much every match we won and I called targets probably at least half the time. If you thought I was that bad you should've spoken up a lot sooner.

you were ghidden and you still got emp-killed. on a tank.

You can cancel out Kurgain since he has a different account.

I'll make this simple for the OP. The best secondary to go with is regen, followed by electric. If you roll scrapper I would roll spine, crits with all the range is nice, KM is good too. If you roll brute SS paired with pyre is the best imo. Char is a great tool in pyre. Burnout is unfair for regen and really not needed when you get good. GLHF
