Old Dev Digest Back?

I noticed they recently changed the way the Dev and Community digest appear. Is it possible to still use the old view? I hate seeing the summary of the thread the post is in.

Thanks.

Count my vote towards the new style, actually. It's easier for me to see which posts I've already read before having to open them in new tabs. More scrolling? Perhaps, but they're even more of digests now than ever.

I'm not 100% sure if this is intentional or not (see the "Hero Skin Borked" thread). If it is, I also would like to see it reverted, as the link at the top takes you to the start of the thread, which is really annoying as it's usually not what you want.

The RSS feeds of the dev and community digests are broken, also. The raw HTML of the table is getting inserted into the RSS, which doesn't work.

Note: If they fix the RSS, and actually add the contents of the post to the RSS feed (it was blank before), then I don't actually care what the digest page itself looks like.

I'm with Ultimus on this one, the new expanded view makes it harder to skim the entries to see when the posts were made and by whom. I can also now see fewer search results "above the fold".

What new dev digest? Looks the same to me!

If you check Z's thread you will see they mention the broken dev digest is a symptom of the busted hero skin.

Now, the dev digests are basically a multi-author search sorted by dare with different post result view options. So that's why the borked hero CSS is giving us this. To go directly to the post, click the title in the quote box not the title above the poster name.

Or for those of us that don't use firefox, even the regular villain skin (or did that extention finally get ported to Chrome?)

Hero skin's broken? Well, that just proves it, then. Devs hate heroes.

Actually, it's the Hero STYLE, not skin. If you are running Zombie Man's Villain Skin but have the forums set to the Hero STYLE using the drop down menu in the lower left of the page, you'll still have the broken look. You have to change the board STYLE to the Villain STYLE for it to work right, no matter what Skin you use.

I've been using his Hero Skin but setting the forums to the Villain STYLE so that everything works right. I just can't stand all that red, it hurts my eyes to read it.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I think Zombie Man may have finally gotten something to work with Chrome.

Of course, the person trying it didn't get it to work right at first because they forgot to change the forum style to the villain style. After they changed that, it all worked right.

Whoops! Thanks, TJ! Fixed my post to say Style instead of Skin.

I agree, the broken RSS is driving me crazy, it's how I quickly check to see if anything is posted.
