Super Group Prestige
prestige comes the same way as xp/inf/drops so most anything that good for any of those things is good for prestige.
But also, the market is agreat place to gather inf for prestige. The ratio sucks, but the inf is very plentiful.
If you're willing to convert Inf to Prestige, Fulmens will match it.

It looks like that getting to level 25 is a priority so that a toon earns 100% prestige. I'd be cool that as influence wanes the prestige surges, so by the time you're 50 you'd earn an insane amount of prestige and no influence.

it looks like the most optimal lvl to earn prestige and inf is lvl 24 which is 98% prestige and 100% inf
Yeah, I got that. I was just thinking that at level 50 you earn something like 10,000 influence for a boss kill (I'm totally guessing) out of SG mode, but you'd only earn 500 prestige for the same kill in SG mode. It'd be great if you earned prestige at the same rate as influence once the influence earning disappears (I think at level 35).

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

and some quick numbers:
lvl 50 boss not in sg mode would give 0 prestige and ~37516 inf
lvl 50 boss in sg mode gives 172 prestige and 18,758 inf
just running in sg mode all the time from the moment you join the sg is still prolly the best way ive found on earning prestige, most of the toons i have in my sg have between 550,000 and 5 mil prestige earned just because i always leave them in sg mode
If you play steadily, you can accrue prestige pretty quickly. Especially nowadays with Rent being negligible.

I thought they changed it so SG mode made no different to the amount of INF you receive some time ago (I'm sure that was something that I read in the patch notes when I came back to the game). Since I've came back I have always been running around in SG mode... oh well, I guess I didn't notice the reduction in INF anyway so it dosn't matter.
It use to be that you got 0 Inf if you were in SG mode once you hit Level 35. They changed that to now cut off at 50%.

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned.
When you bring a praetorian character into your SG and that character has never been in an SG before, there is a 100k bonus to compensate for those levels the character missed being able to contribute.
Comparatively, it's a very good deal, considering that most of my level 20 toons had earned far, far less. I can't recall specifically, but the number 45k comes to mind.
That's 1 thing - play on the gold side until level 20, then have the character join your group.
Next - PvP missions. In siren's call, if memory serves, there are missions that can be done to boost one faction or debuff another, depending on the mission done. Because of the risk in entering pvp zones - these missions give extra rewards - and prestige is part of that.
Now, I'd missed about 3 1/2 years so that last part could have changed. Use your search-fu to see if it's still in effect. Mine is pretty weak.
Lastly, there are prestige boosts available from the store, and I believe some are accessible through vet awards. They're temporary, last for an hour, but they are useful in the short run.
If you can, run your missions with bosses - as bosses earn more - but killing speed factors into this. On toons that have good AoE (fire tank, brute) they can probably clobber 10 minions faster than one boss and thus it would be more efficient to just leave bosses off the map.
Hope that little bit helps.

My little SG family has moved over to Exalted and are building a new base, and I have a question I haven't had to think about in years: what's the most efficient way to earn PRESTIGE?
Is it simply to play in sg mode or are there missions that would be more beneficial?
Thanks for the heads up.
