The thing is - Longbow don't really do anything different. At all. The minions/Lts are pretty much Assault Rifle/devices blasters (Although the Nullifiers get those damn annoying sonic grenades that are more like a power from Trick Arrow). And the Wardens? they're just extrapolations Of existing archtypes/powersets made in the standard NPC fashion of the time.
Besides, we could use some Praetorian oriented EATs before another Hero one.

Yeah, there is no specialization to longbow, "supers" among them are things like Spines scrappers and grav doms/controllers.

I did read some requests lately for a new Epic Archetype. On one hand. I had the idea of doing a Longbow archetype, despite not suggesting it, because I'd rather see something else instead. They should just make a Longbow Costume set and sell it on the market. Then you can make any archetype and have it be a Longbow Soldier! What do you guys think, should we do a Longbow Archetype in the FAR, FAR future, or just simply wait and hope they sell a Longbow Costume set like they do with the Circle of Thorns or both? |
If they where going to add a new epic AT, I would go for Carnival of Light/War.

The I see the PPD having a Power Glove primary power set, with their mixture of damage, sleeps and holds, paired with some sort of Power Field armour set (as their armour appears to be some sort of energy field that covers their body, similar to the Victorian Decore auras).
