Magical Girl SG?

I'm still interested.
Just to be informative and I'm not saying that this is how it should be done but the old Sushi Schoolgirl Squad used specific family names tied to your primary power set for their naming convention. For example if your primary power was fire based then your family name was Miho etc. In each family there were there as many members as non-white primary colors (8 or 9 as I recall). Suki Miho's fuku was red and Hitomi Miho wore blue for example.

I suggest for naming simplicy Cute Saint (your name here) or Star Knight (your name here) works best. Then the group can dole out the planets or zodiak signs as desired. That allows for folks to leave the group and their planet or sign to be re-assigned as it were.

I would also suggest that the primary color of a member's 'magical girl' outfit is on a 1st come 1 served basis for now but that Star Knights and Cute Saints can each have a member of the same color.

Alright, Etienne is now high enough level to register an SG (and will likely stay at 11 for a while; I have a high level incarnate bruiser, two in fact, I don't need another yet). Going to give Jessie a little more time before I make a move.

I like the reincarnation part, but don't CoHV's fairies tend to the "cruel and unusual" rather than heroic? The red caps, for example.

Guys I'm still alive, and I'm trying to get the project underway. I will be online all day tomorrow if you want to send me a message even if I'm on an alt I will answer questions and pop over to Dominique to get you invited.

Everything is real rough right now so I'm looking for your guys help to smooth things out, I'm going to appoint people to officer so I'm not the only one inviting into the group. And then we'll have to come up with some sort of introductory story to do, base idea, and maybe a guildportal or something.

I just wanted to post to say I was alive, I'll be answering questions when I get a chance.

Alright, sorry for the double post, I've sort of caught up and am going to address some things:

Naming Conventions - I think people have already gotten the idea. I know some people had some pre-made characters so I wasn't going to be super strict about this. But eventually I'd kinda like everyone to be sort of discernible by their name so yes if you're making a new character:

Cute Saint <Blank> is the Magical Girl

Star Knight <Blank> is the Knight (I was gonna do Stellar Knight but this works just as well.)

Fairy Court - I think the idea has some potential, though I'd like to go over this a little more before we do anything solid with it. I like adding in influences from Shakespearean work however I don't want to get too muddled with what our destiny is, I think the major thing with a Magical Girl trope is that most of the Destiny and the Magic element is left vague on purpose. I'll leave this open to discussion for the moment but I think we should consider some other options with the court like perhaps the Court is pulling the strings on our transformations rather than being directly reincarnated from them.

Again I'll be on tomorrow and tonight so if you're ready to go and you want to be invited in then drop me a tell @BiggerThanToast.

Cute Saints:

Aries - Me
Taurus
Gemini
Cancer
Leo - Lady Sunflash
Virgo
Libra
Scorpio - FlonnEtna
Sagittarius - Limedolly
Aquarius
Pisces

Star Knights:
Sun (Knight of Leo)
Chiron (Knight of Cancer)
Earth (Knight of Taurus)
Mercury (Knight of Gemini) - The Lone Hero
Venus (Knight of Libra)
Mars (Knight of Aries)
Jupiter (Knight of Sagittarius)
Saturn (Knight of Capricorn) - Square Woot
Uranus (Knight of Aquarius)
Neptune (Knight of Pisces) - Kaminaidunho
Pluto (Knight of Scorpio)
Ceres (Knight of Virgo)

So, we've got a basic theme (signs and planets), and a few people to get us started. Now we need some short and long range goals to work towards. Also, delicious subplots along the way. For example there is the traditional discovery of new members during the first season/arcs.

Jessie also mentioned the possibility of the sg base bring modelled on a private school that many of the girls would just so happen to attend.

Oops, class is starting! Any ideas?

Even if I'm not a veteran player, or even a longtime Virtue player, I would like to apply for the spot as the Cute Saint of Aquarius.

Online right now, on Virtue, after creation of my Magical Girl 'Cute Saint Kyoko'. Sounds like a japanese Schoolgirl, looks a lot like one (well, anime ones), and she will match some cliches about japanese schoolgirls (lets say, she wouldn't like to fight against a Plant/ Dom/Troller)

I would love to take the spot of Cute Saint Pisces (my sign :3) if it's not reserved for anyone else, I'll give some thought to a backstory and such but I have in mind to make her a Defender (IIRC, Pisces are known to put others before themselves).

I would just like to comment on how hilarious it is that the anime and manga icon in wikipedia is an archetypically giant eye.

Humm, I'm in the process of designing a character for this, and the realization struck me that I don't really know what the convention is for an outfit. If this is supposed to be a team of magical girls, should there be some convention to their appearance?

Here's what I have so far at any rate (colors picked from cursory research about colors associated with Pisces. I haven't created the character just yet because I don't want to have to spend any more inf or tailor tokens than I need to).

There hasn't been any sort of team outfit designed yet, so just bring whatever fits for you. Anyone who's looking for an invite, you can reach me a @Thunder Raider, usually on in the afternoons/evenings.
