Question About Dark Extraction
stacks, so you can have multiple pets out, on super high rech builds you should be able to sustain 3 pets as long as there are enough bodies around you lol
They stack, but I think the top builds can have at most 3 at a time, 2 perma as long as there are dead bodies.
That is amazing, I'm just starting to realize how good Warshades are. I for the longest time always thought that HEATs sucked honestly but i plotted out a high recharge (human form only) build with perma hasten and eclipse and it made me realize that they can be kind broken going around rocking perma hard capped resistance with enough enemies and stygian circle to gain strength from the piles of bodies you leave behind...oh yah I cant wait to get to 50!
thanks for answering my question =D
Recharge is somewhere around 200sec. With the right recharge I guess it's safe to say 3 can be stacked. Realistically, you should be able to count on 2 fluffs to add to the Warshades path of destruction.
I double checked my 50 build (it's nothing special) and I can extract every 65 secs.
I have two at almost all times and, for a handful of seconds, three on occasion. My build is not complete yet so I hope to have 3 for a bit longer in the near future. Nothing like standing in the middle of the chaos while the fluffies rip into anything around me.
Assuming they don't die, I have the recharge to keep three out at all times. Unfortunately, they die a lot.
Is there a way to have the pet window up for the dark extraction? I thought I noticed someone having it up with the fluffies in a youtube video.

Yeah, there's an option to keep your pet window up... I think it's under "window," but I honestly don't remember precisely.
A little thing that says "pets" should show up on the team window once you have enabled it under options.

Since we are on the subject of fluffies, are there any types of dead bodies that you can't use for dark extraction?
I have been playing my warshade alot more now that I've invested in him fairly heavily and I've been noticing sometime the animation will happen and no fluffy spawns.

this only happens usually because the body despawns as your power is animating and by the time you finish animating, but it should be usable on any NPC body

This was during an Apex TF in the defend PPD station phase and I was using the clockwork that spawn (not the goliaths) and none of the defeated bodies would work.

This is what I thought at first but I tested it by using extraction on a body immeadiately after I defeated it and it still failed.

i cant test this myself though since the highest kheld i have is a 41 WS

Several ghost entities (mainly CoT) despawn immediately upon being defeated, so you cannot use them. Also, be aware that the warwalkers despawn more quickly upon defeat than other entities, so you have to launch dark extraction immediately to get one before they disappear.

Don't forget Unbound Nictus/Novas/Dwarfs.
I have major problems with Dark Extraction, not just on trials. I think it fails for me at least half the time.
I was hoping the changes to a lot of powers recently that make effects like Stalker Despair and kinetics heals work even if the critter dies would have impacted dark extraction, but I guess death is too different from despawns and the code didn't have any impact.

It sounds good but even though it's somewhat gimping myself I plotted a human form only warshade build. One part conceptual because of the story the character has and the other is my experience with this toon when I had him as a pb I just can't wrap my brain around using tri or dual form. I prefer the straight forward nature of a human form build.

2nd. Find More Bodies!
3rd. I'm just now discovering the awesomeness that is MFing WarShade. I've tried various Human only, Tri-form, Dwarf only etc builds but in the end I could just never get into them. Something was always missing. I read Dech's guide more than a few times, just not understanding what I was missing. Finally it dawned on me while trying yet again to roll a WS.
It was the fact that my hand had to leave the mouse to switch forms that broke the AT for me. Luckily this time around I was far more familiar with binds. I ended up binding Nova to activate and change trays for me by clicking the back button and Dwarf with the forward button on my mouse. Shift+Back turns both off, switches back to tray 1 and turns on Sprint. Shift+Forward brings up teleport reticle.
This simple little thing made the world of difference. I could swap between all 3 forms on a whim without missing a beat. A new MFing WS was born.
It still makes me smile when teammates comment on how much I'm covering all the angles in missions. Never relying on one form.
Just wanted to throw that out there, in case you also suffered from my particular hang-up. Otherwise enjoy your Human form build!
Also, there is a similar themed thread concerning this you might check out as well. Debating the usage of Burnout with Extraction.

I've plotted a Recharge heavy build and i'm curious about this power. If the pet it summons is still alive by the time it recharges and you use it again does it replace the current summon or do they stack?
