Faultline needs some love...
There is a manhole in the hallways of Pocket D that will take you to Faultline. The South Skyway tram stop isn't that far from the Faultline zone gate.
There are contacts in the teens that send you to talk to Jim Tremblor in Faultline when it's level appropriate to run his arc.
Given the state of the zone, it's no surprise that Tram service hasn't yet been added.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
That manhole, didn't know it existed until a year after I played the game. Skyway: see above.
I love the zone. Great storyline, AV's at a low level. Fusionette. The only negative thing I could say about the zone is that the dam is a PITA to go through.
And the state of the zone? It sells doughnuts. Any place that sells doughnuts cant be that bad off.
There is nothing wrong with the way it is now. And almost everyone has a mission teleporter by now. If not, they can use their(or team leaders) base to teleport. Other than that, see Tex's comments above.
There was no reason to do a lot of things that they did throughout the CoX history. Thats a really really weak argument.
Not to mention that not every base has a teleporter to fault. Not to mention the F2P players don't have super group access. Not to mention new F2P players wont have mission TP unless they buy it. Not to mention that.... you get the point.
The whole point of having to travel to some places without using a teleporter or tram is to experience the game world. I suppose next you are going to want a tram added to DA, Striga, Eden... you get the point.
Convenience wise, I somewhat agree.
But theme-wise... the zone's still in the middle of being reclaimed and reconstructed, so I could see not having a tram available there. It "makes sense" for the zone not to have one. New/free users aren't going to know it's "Skyway south, then a quick hop" or "Cut through Pocket D," though.
A *fast* compromise would be some text. Jim Temblor is one of the pop-up "he has contacted you" messages. Directions ("Take the tram to Skyway South, then go south" or something similar) would at least tell people how to get there.

If you said I want a tram in Fire Base Zulu and Rikti War Zone it would have made a little more sense.
I know what they are. It's just to get the point across. It may not seem like it, but I understand how you feel. I just don't see a point for this.

EDIT: As for tram "making sense", if they were able to build a AE building there then they best be able to build a tram. And hasn't a number of years passed since the remake of Atlas Park in the game lore? I'm sure that's enough time to get a functional tram going.
So as far as the game lore goes, we are covered.
I'm am continually surprised by how many players don't want improvements to the game. A train to Faultline is a great idea. It's one of my favorite zones. It's also a PITA to get to.
I was under the impression that find contact brought up jim and you could tp to him?
Solution? BUS SERVICE!!
New Faultline gives a scenic tour service for citizens and they happen to put criers at each of the stations who say "Come see Faultline, see the sights where heroes once gathered, buy some souveneirs..... please buy something"

Also, how long has Faultine been 'under repair' now? I think in-game canon-wise we could afford to put a tram line in there.
Also also, why do people still argue against convenience? What the hell kind of Experience is trogging through Skyway? "Holy hell, this place is **** ugly..."?
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

I kind of like the Bus service idea, with stops in the various zones in different locations than the Trams. Say one north and south on the west side of IP, one north in FF, SE in Bricks, the middle of Steel and Skyway, NW part of KR, and in Faultline. It would make sense that buses would make it back into the zone before the trams got expanded that far. And maybe we would actually see some buses in the streets for all the bus stops we have sitting around unused.

I could see a tram in Faultline. I don't mind using the Skyway connection, nor the Pocket D manhole, but I have an older computer, as I'm sure many others do, and I prefer to minimize the number of zoning screens due to the length of load. At best it is a two zone shift right now. Even dropping one screen load would be nice.
That said, a tram doesn't guarantee that the zone will be more frequented. Croatoa has a nice tram layout, and is often overlooked except by badge hunters. I guess what is really needed is some concept that will consistently keep the out-of-the-way zones in mind and reasonably easy to get to.

Sure all of the new shiny means new fun content in the game and options, but I really think they should have worked with what they had and improved it before adding stuff. There are so many great zones out there that are almost completely useless. I mean how many people would love to see some cool co op stuff added to a zone like Dark Astoria?
I'd really like to see a tram station added in Fault. Due to its secluided location a lot of new players will miss out on a fun zone. Its located off of skyway and to be honest, that zone is a big parking lot that is hardly ever really used.
When I do try to get a fault team going its hard because of the obscure location, Everyone is accustomed to easy commutes now (I love the new tram/ferry set up btw) and a main zone like fault should really have a tram stop. A tram will give the zone some much needed attention. I'm sure a lot of hard work was put into the remake and its a shame to see the zone so desolate
On another note, lets get a flashback to the old Faultline. That zone was awesome.
