Great! Thank you. There wouldn't by chance be a macro?

I would really like to get some use out of multiple builds, but I always have the issue of keybinds. I set up specific keys for each build and have to redo them each time I change builds. This makes me not want to use them. I'm hoping there is some way I can save each set and load the set that matches the build.
Is there any option like this that exists and if so could I get a link or instructions on how to do it. I cant seem to find anything when I search for it. -
Quote:Like I noted in the other thread, if someone is actually serious about needing to know when another player fires Hasten, they will be disappointed to learn you can occlude Hasten's graphics entirely with hand auras, and even fake it exactly using the Fire aura colored orange on the hands so that no one ever knows if you have it active. Are there a whole lot of PVPers doing this for the visual advantage? I seriously doubt it.
As a regular pvper I have never seen anyone try to cover up hasten. And they already have a solution for pvp since some sets like will power have auras that can be removed altogether but show any time you enter a pvp zone or arena. I'm sure the same would be done for hasten if they ever gave us the option to remove the ugly graphics. It wont show in pve but will in pvp areas. -
Quote:This. This could be an easy moneymaker for the devs. Call it Power Customization 2.0, it unlocks Epic and Power Pool customization and costs 800-1200 points. People would crash the store trying to buy it so fast.
I know I wold pay for the option. And lets be honest, if this does ever come now that the game is all about micro transactions you can pretty safely assume this will be a "pay for" item. The people that think it will be free are delusional.
I'd pay to be able to turn off the travel power graphics as well. Hasten is straight up ugly and even those air poofs you get from flight and super jump are annoying to me. -

Another thing I find strange is that they passed up on this chance to get the word out about the new f2p model at comic con. I really didn't think they would miss out on that. It's one of the few chances they get to advertise.

Wow, that stinks. Me and my brother were looking forward to this. Glad we didn't buy the tickets yet.

A horrible way to make cash is turning new players away at the door because of all of the harsh restrictions. I'm not saying that will happen, but its a definite possibility.
The guy I quoted had it right. Give just the right amount and the players will pay. They should tone down the restrictions a bit to make the game more appealing. -
Um, I guess you didn't see what I did there huh? That was me being a wise *blank* and shooting down your post like you did mine with a quote from YOUR post that "extrapolated a behavior to the majority with no evidentiary support".
-
Quote:And they failed horribly. They stripped accounts so hard that they aren't worth playing without a sub or extra cash. You NEED money to make them worth it in my eyes.Well of course; the only way to make money from a F2P game is either to sell players lots of stuff or convince them to subscribe (if you offer such things). The challenge is to give them enough stuff for free that they'll want to play, but not so much that they won't see any reason to pay.

Its funny they call premium accounts that because there is nothing premium about them. They should call them the "somewhat better" accounts because they really aren't much better than a free account unless you are a high tier for Paragon rewards. But that's how it goes with free games. They suck unless you pay for the goodies. This game really isn't worth playing for free unless you are tier 7 or above in my eyes.
And locking out IO's is harsh, but its a way to make you pay for the game. And that is the main goal in the end so the free players will have to deal with it. -
Quote:Its all a matter of opinion. If you think Rapier would look funny in broadsword, it would look three times a strange in Katana. The rapier is not generally a two handed weapon. It doesn't have a hilt long enough to manage a 2 handed grip, so you'd have one hand floating at the end of your sword. Plus the animations for Katana are probably even more wrong than those of broadsword. Besides, Carnies have been using broadsword animations for their rapiers for years now. I wouldn't say it looks "right," but it's not so painfully bad that people have been screaming for a change.
I really think they need to forget broadsword for awhile and give the katana and the other weapon wielder underdogs some love. Broadsword has enough options as is. Just look at the recent barbarian set for example. Broadswords gets a sick new addition. Katana... nothing -
Quote:Sadly that is true. I seems like over the years the game is getting divided. There were villains first, but that made perfect sense. Then it was AE and the new "how do I exploit this" crowd. Going Rogue was basically a whole new zone that cut people out of blue and red sides until level 20. Now we have the Incarnate system with a whole new heap of end game for the lvl 50's which means less new alts to populate the zones. And the most recent is the new VIP server. That said, a tram doesn't guarantee that the zone will be more frequented. Croatoa has a nice tram layout, and is often overlooked except by badge hunters. I guess what is really needed is some concept that will consistently keep the out-of-the-way zones in mind and reasonably easy to get to.
Sure all of the new shiny means new fun content in the game and options, but I really think they should have worked with what they had and improved it before adding stuff. There are so many great zones out there that are almost completely useless. I mean how many people would love to see some cool co op stuff added to a zone like Dark Astoria? -
Quote:Oh did I now? I suggest you go back and read my posts. Not once did I "extrapolated a behavior to the majority with no evidentiary support". Go back and please point out where I did that. You cant because I didn't. I pointed out what I did. That I was adding to the player base on the red side and that would never had happened if there wasn't a reason to swap over. Just because you two blow through tips on -1 doesn't mean everybody does. In fact that sounds mind numbingly boring. I enjoy playing the game like it was designed to be played, as a MMO on a team.Yes, you extrapolated a behavior to the majority with no evidentiary support. Feycat didn't do that. She expressed only HER OWN experience. So yes, I did see what you did there. You presented an argument that does nothing to contradict the argument you were countering. All it did show is that you can make stuff up.

I know exactly what you mean. I read a few thread in the past about paying for VIP rewards and saw how the OP was shot down hard. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the people in this thread right now were some of the shooters. It just came off like the people with all of the cool stuff are the same people that want all of the cool stuff to themselves. Glad to see that the dev's realized that letting people pay for the VIP perks was a great idea for the game as a whole.
-
Thats actually a decent idea, but probably more work then 1 tram station in fault.

Quote:And it never made it into the purchased content so it was not part Going Rogue. Intentions are not product, only what makes the final cut is.
/thread.
They stated that it was part of going rogue even though it was coming late. I remember because the end game content people were expecting with GR was taken away until a later date and people were pretty upset about it.
And you're argument doesn't make much sense seeing they took apart GR piece by piece and are selling it in sections right now. They just chose to put the incarnate section along with the subscription fee. -
-
-
Thats because it was a part of going rogue but they pushed it back into another issue because it wasn't finished. I'd dig for the old notes on it but I'm too lazy.
-
Quote:Actually no incarnates was originally a part of going rogue but due to the fact they they didn't finish it on time they pushed it back into a .5 issue. It was originally a part of going rogue.Yay! This is the what # thread about this? No. Incarnates were mentioned as a "Sneak Peak" for Going Rogue and were not part of it. End Game is an incentive to subscribe. Going Rogue gives you the ability to side switch and access to Praetoria. VIPs deserve something for their continued support of the game.
Premium was "never" intended for Subscribers to step down. It was never meant, no matter how much time you have spent in the game, as a means for a Lifetime subscription, a feature Paragon stated they would not be offering at the very beginning.
If you are Premium you should "always" be behind VIPs. Sorry, we support the game, we should reap the bennefits. I'm not saying Premiums don't support the game, but it's on a "I want that basis" and that could mean $0 spent for several months. Ala no continual support.

Yeah I am a little stumped myself. It would be a fairly easy addition and would bring much needed traffic to the zone. They made every single major non-coop zone in the game easy to access... except for faultline.
