Any update on this issue?

Been a week since i heard from support now, and i just don't really feel the urge to play with a half broke account. In my head i'm thinking it might just end up complicating a fix or something.

Last i heard was they had no system working to correct these issues, which i think is very peculiar considering past history about veteran rewards.

And a friend of mine, also a 87 vet was pretty much told by support their 21 tokens they have now is the correct amount. Thankfully, support hasn't told me that yet, since i'd be furious if so.

that doesnt sound totally right, cause i know i started with 22 rewards pre slotted and 5 extra tokens granted from the 5 years i been playing which totaled 27 rewards

what exactly is the discrepancy going on with the rewards?

That some of us (seems mostly those of us who used to play on US and transfered to EU) aren't getting the rewards we are due.

I have 28 tokens, but i'm a 87 vet, so doing the math and totalling all up, i should be looking at 40. So i got 12 missing. I actually lost some veteran rewards i had before, like remote auctionhouse (/ah does nothing atm) and remote vault etc.

87 / 12 = 7 years
87 / 3 = 29
Box = 1 (only one box is counted)
Account = 1

That should be a total of 38. You're definitely missing tokens, but I'm curious as to how you thought you should get 40.

Addendum: Your account join date says mid-2006. Were you ever in the past manually granted vet rewards from your previous account? (Or, did your account need to be manually awarded rewards after the transfer you speak of?)

and 1 token for July, and 1 for August = 40. (and soon one for september = 41)

My FORUM join date is mid 2006, not the game.
CoH account was created on the 16th april 2004. Vet rewards didn't come until 2006, because i know they only gave me 9 months then, but my US account had 21, after a petition they fixed it to read 30 months. Then my CC ran out, and sub got canceled, i resubbed, and it was down for like 1 hour tops. For some reason that reset vet rewards and i didn't get one for 6+ months, they fixed that then they put in new system, vet rewards f'ed up once more 3rd petition fixed that up. And now they changed it again and 4th petition under way, btu this time they don't have any tools to fix error. It seems they thought their new system was foolproof, despite me (and others) reporting the bug in beta.

There were no Token grants for July or August, unless of course you got a Vet Badge during that time.

Pre-headstart, you got Tokens for Vet Badges, post-headstart, it's per month. Although, I still didn't get my new per-month one. (edit: You did get bonus Points for June-August.)

Myself and two members of my SG are in the same situation Neko. All 87+ month veterans but only received 30 points when we should have received 38 (and the 150 bonus market points but I suspect that will be another petition). We all had the same last communication from support on 17/09/2011 at 19:08 from GM Roland which said they are still working on it but had no new info.

I have also chatted with a couple of others who have petitions on the go. We are all US->EU transferees. If I hear anything I'll send you a PM.

Just raising my hand as another US>EU transfer Vet missing reward tokens (29 instead of 38).

It seems every time they touch the vet reward system I lose my US>EU credit.

This got me looking at my Vet tokens..

MAIN ACCOUNT
72mo Vet (VIP)

72 / 12 = 6

72 / 3= 24

Have one box = 1

Its an Account = 1

6 + 24 + 1 + 1 = 32

I have 32 Tokens for this account

--------------------------------------

SECOND ACCOUNT
63mo Vet (Premium)

63 / 12 = 5.25 (rounded down to 5)

63 / 3 = 21

Have one box = 1

It is an account = 1

5 + 21 + 1 + 1 = 27

Should have 27 tokens, but I only have 20 in game.

Did I do the math right?

And if my math is right I think I am missing a few character slot tokens as well. I currently have 4 character tokens that I claimed and I don't have anymore.

Three weeks and issue still unresolved.

But they sent me a survey so i can rate their support... maybe not the best of ideas on an issue they can't fix, eh?

Seriously, somewhere there must be a variable saying 28, make it say 39 or 40 or whatever i'm supposed to have instead.

Watch it - they did the same to my petition on the same issue. When I logged in to look, the case was closed.

Best everyone check your petitions ASAP to reopen your case.

For those who have not heard of this issue, as a US -> EU transfer this is now the third time I've had to have NCsoft intervene and fix the issue (no doubt the same for others). Appears to happen every time they change the Veteran Reward system in any way.

I was able to reopen it without raising a new case by adding a comment via the web interface.

Still, agreed it is a poor showing.

US->EU transferee here also with the same issue.

Call closed, support survey received and now filled in (not a glowing response unsurprisingly).

Have sent in a reply to re-open the support call.

Although I wish I could just close calls at work and get away with it

Yeah mine was closed as well. No email notification of it.

Very poor show.
I sincerely hope that Paragon steps up and gives us some sort of compensation for releasing a feature which is bugged, they're unable to fix it, and support are being rude with issue.


Would also be really nice with a red name saying something about this...
We're all loyal customers and now being shafted over.

If you do happen to get your vet rewards issue resolved to what it should be, please let us know who it was that got it fixed for you.
My vet rewards have been broken since way back at 18 months some years ago, they'reset' my account, and it started accumulating agin from that point on. that took a year and a half for someone to finally believe me.
I'm short 18 months from the in between time on an account that has never seen downtime .This is with providing them the original email of the account activation & withdrawl dates from my bank statements, and a certain gm kept telling me i was wrong.
I sent petitions every single day for half a year...

I would advise people having problems with the rewards program to check the status of their support tickets. Mine has again been closed with no notification.

Any I'm paying for this crappy level of customer service? What a joke.

Support closed my ticket without contacting me. I had e-mailed them but not had a reply. I had to check the support site for a response. I am not impressed with this.

Same again. This is appalling.

Edit: I've contacted Zwillinger by PM to see if he can help, also anyone reading this that can bring any assistance to bear I am currently holding off buying any Paragon Points until this is resolved (so there are no additional Reward Points to muddy the waters) so this is costing NCsoft money...

I hate to see you guys having issues, but just wanted to throw this out there.

I don't know what system they're using, but on the support ticket system at work, if there's no communication trigger (normally me calling back to say it didn't work), then the tickets auto-close after 5 days. My best Guess is that you guys are correct in that the transition from server set somehow caused a variable issue. IE: the variable tracking Tokens is tied to time on that server set. So if say you spent 2 years on the EU server, swapped to the US and kept on for 4 years, then the variable tracking the US time wouldn't know about the old variable tracking the EU time. It would go something like this:

EU
---
24 / 12 = 2
24 / 3 = 8
+1 for account
+1 for box
= 12

US
---
48 / 12 = 4
48 / 3 = 16
+1 for account
+1 for box
= 22

In this case the EU counter would be 12 while the US counter would be 22, but the US counter (being US only in this example) wouldn't have a clue about the EU counter so you'd only see 22 on the account. A Fix for this would be to have a global counter, but again this is Entirely speculation on what Could cause the issue.

Yea when i subtracted my US time from my EU time i got fairly close to what i was expecting. Not exaktly, but close enough.


I'm just mind boggled how they can release a new system, which they knew was flawed, and then have no way to correct it.
