Are Corruptors worthless in PvP?
No. I still use a corruptor when i PvP and i know others who do as well. Used more in Arena now probably..

They can be pretty good. Poison will debuff as well as any fender. Sccourge lets you get phat damoog at the right time.
You heard it here 1st, the new fotm is a psy/poison rupter, that is all.......
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

Corruptors are bad.

Anyone care to give their opinion on the top corruptor primaries for PvP. Of course Psy would be #1... curious to see how the others rank.
Psy, Fire, Sonic. Rad and Archery are also decent, but not for team play, really.
Cardiac killed elec/therms?
Corrs aren't as good as they used to be. Incarnate powers that can be pretty much perma at T4 means that any single debuff is almost worthless against an opponent that is prepared. Thermals used to be the I Win Corr set against almost anything, but not so much now, and Cold is pretty lulzy too. In teams with multiple Corrs though they are still as dangerous as ever.

Well, preferably both. But why not a list for all 3? I'm not sure I understand why a primary for corruptors would be significantly worse in one or the other. PvP is so different than it used to be.
Of my two favorite pvp toons, one is a stalker and the other is a corr. I feel that the corr has a chance to kill anything one on one. The stalker I use to piss people off.

I believe I misunderstood the question. I believe I was thinking overall build and not primary but I could possible still be correct since each set offers different effects. If you are only looking at the blast pools then hemmingway is correct in my opinion. However with certain secondaries other blast sets may be just as good. Sonic and Psy are my personal preference overall. Psy has a variety of tricks while sonic has the increasing dmg.
Note: My corrs are the following..
Sonic/Rad
Dark/Cold
Psy/Time
Elec/Therm

How would Beam Rifle, and /Time fair? Not together, but individually? I'm thinking of making a Beam, Psy, or Sonic paired with /Time or /Poison. I know Psy/Poison was stated earlier as something that would do well. I'm curious as to how /Time would do, but also how Beam rifle would do. It seems like it would do well, with the quick animations, heavy hitter with a stun, and disintegrate.
I'm not usually one to min/max and make cookie cutter or FOTM builds, but I also want to be able to be competent in PvP.
It seems like Time would do better/well in Zones, compared to Poison.
Sonic is definitely a good primary for corruptors. The -res from your attacks can stack. I would recommend getting the tier 4 musculature (for an added punch to damage) and reactive from interface to add more -res (which can also stack). I haven't tried time manipulation yet but it seems the consensus on it is very positive. Good debuffs, awesome buffs to you and your teammates might be a way to go.
In case you have not read this, it is from another thread:
I have a psi/time fully pvp/purpled out with all T3 incarnets and all his accolades. Hes pretty good in sirens and rv but duels hes just to slow. The debuff from time has to long of an animation, the heal takes to long to activate and the +regen from it is useless. The -regen from time doesnt matter because of the rebirth power and the slows dont last long enough to stop your enemy from attacking constantly. The def buff from time only adds 3% because of DR and takes to long to activate. The pbaoe slow power reveals stalkers but doesnt inturrupt them from AS and the proc in it hardly triggers. All in all the set is a disappointment. The devs would need to fix slows and make the heal and def buff better considering the amount of animation time needed to use such powers, but we know that wont happin cause the devs dont care.

Time Stop on corrs (the hold) have a "devs-are so-coherent" duration time :
base 4.77sec.

Ouch !
It seems that they get no love due to their middle ground of both damage and support. Defenders do better at support; is Corruptor's damage so worthless as to not even consider playing one in PvP?
I love corruptors. Sort of would like a reason to roll/level/play one (for PvP), but I get the feeling I'd get stomped. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
