I say keep the sub. The reward tokens may be somewhat useless, but that also means that they are somewhat useful as well which in turn with the 550 free points/month makes keeping the sub worth it. Also, they are actively working on a patch to the missing token problem.

Is there a problem with the Reward Tokens at the moment? I actually was coming here to ask about them, I bought points (over $15 worth) but haven't received any extra Reward Tokens for it. Is there something I am suppose to do to receive them?

No the problem is specifically with buying months in advance. Ie I buy 6 months at a time. In theory I should have gotten all of my tokens for the future months when the game came up. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the system so that they can only give the tokens for months out as each month starts. That is what they need to fix.

Zwil and Posi said they will allow the multi-month sub points to reward soon™.
I did use fake money to get them in beta but I won't be doing the same with real money.

I bought points at the NCsoft site last night while the market was down, and the tokens appeared immediately.

C. You get 400 points a month without buying them.
The points you get for C do not count for A.

The free points are part of the $15 you spend for the month and count into that reward token which is why they don't count.

With the promised reward token distribution (all up front)
If I subscribed for a year, i would be Tier 9 as soon as I paid for the year (end of this month). I have EXACTLY enough tokens to pull this off. This was pretty much the only reason I subscribed for an entire year.
Unfortunately, since they cannot do this, I'm debating canceling my yearly subscription and just using that money to buy enough points to get to the tier I want.
I know it's a technical issue, but I wish there were an ETA.
Pros for keeping the yearly subscription: it's a discount over a monthly subscription
Cons for keeping the yearly subscrption: no guarantee on when I'll get to Tier 9, because who knows when they'll give me all the promised rewards
pros for VIP tier 9: 550 points a month
cons for VIP tier 9: accruing somewhat useless reward tokens?
