Just bought two copies of COH...(Q regarding Premium Accounts)
That's a good question to clear up. My own assumption is that by purchasing a CoH DVD edition, one qualifies as a future Premium (as opposed to some one who merely started a new Trial account).
And as a follow-up question, although CoH DVD editions come with a free month, will there be any problem with downgrading to Premium afterward? I know that new accounts are required to provide credit card information, but presumably they aren't charged until the free month is over.
TIA for clarification.
The box purchase alone is enough to make them Premium.

P.S. I'm fairly certain credit card information isn't required to make a new account, but it's been a while since I've made one so I'm not sure.

Yes, you need credit card information to sign up, or a time card, or a game card. However, you can immediately cancel your subscription and remove your credit card from the account and nothing untoward will happen.
When Freedom launches, this will no longer be the case. But until then, you still need it.

The purchase of any box set in the past automatically grants you a Paragon Reward Token, and thus would qualify you as Premium. You would be, I believe, Tier 2.

I bought Good vs Evil, Architect Edition and Going Rogue. I deserve compensation for the extra funds I paid. I think this needs to be settled in court!

Thanks for the information, Zwillinger and Snowglobe. Amazon is selling the CoH Architect edition for $8.90, incidentally, which is a little more than it used to, IRC.
...do I need to subscribe for one month with them in order for them to be premium under F2P?
Or is the free 30 days enough for them to count as premium?
