tired
I am more than happy to wait if it means I can run my game in Ultra mode again and run multiple accounts at once. Granted I was hoping to get to play when I got home from work. But, the recent issues I and other people were having with crashing, power tray being emptied, buff tray being a mess, and tons of red spikes on our netgraph will hopefully be solved with this extended maintinence.
I PL myself! YAY
So what you are saying is that you want them to just turn the servers on and let you on no matter what kind of problems you may experience?
You are much different from many of the forum posters that claim they aren't fixing problems.
I guess my signature is more apropos than I thought.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

You'll be happy to know that I was just able to log in. As for the work they were doing, you can't please everyone. If they don't work on the servers and there is a ton of lag, people will complain. Fix the servers trying to take care of the lag and people complain because they can't play when they want to.
Just get over it.

You aren't alone. I have to say, I'm getting pretty tired of all the downtime and the general shape of the game as a whole. This is the worst shape the game has been in ever. Memory leaks, crashes, mish/trial bugs, launcher issues, the list goes on. I understand we are in a transition to Freedom, but we have lost many hours of playtime due to problems cropping up after these upgrades. If it's just a hardware upgrade, why do we lose another 6 hours after the upgrade to fix problems? Which I gotta say, doesn't give me much hope for a smooth release of Freedom.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Why do we have beta/test servers? Yes, they are used, but it makes no sense that a build (supposedly)runs fine on the test but needs a fix days after the release to live. I know that every single scenario can't be tested and there could be minor issues. What I get from that is that they are releasing the build too early and with known bugs.
I'll stop now before I hit full-on rant. This is more of a venting I'm not going to say I'll quit if you don't pull up your socks, devs. But, it is getting increasingly frustrating to try and play this game at times.

There have been other factors that caused major problems in the past that weren't encountered on Test but showed immediately on Live due to some other configuration issues on one or more particular servers, usually an unusual configuration.
Stress testing, load testing, and all sorts of things are done during testing, but there are some things that those tests won't give full information on. Ghost Falcon told us in general about how those two situations above had shown up in the past that were never seen during testing. I'd much rather that they be vigilant after the patches and take down servers quickly for testing.
It's much better than Issue 2 or Issue 3 release when it went a whole weekend and into the early part of the next week when things were fixed. In-game support was taking between 4 hours and a day to get to problems and more petitions were coming in while they dealt with what they had already.
