September Tanker Tuesdays

Newb Question - Do most of you just have tankers on all the servers to play? Or is there a character copy/transfer thing you can do?

There are character transfers, but they cost real money, so I imagine most people aren't blowing $ to move their tanker around to follow the event from server to server. I believe most people either have tanks on many of the servers, or else just wait around until it comes to a server where they do have tanks.

As Muon mentioned most of the Tanker Tuesday regulars created new tanks on other servers. There was also a couple of windows before Going Rogue was released where the Devs gave away free transfers, so I wouldn't be surprised if a few players took the opportunity to shift tanks around. Some prefer to wait for the Tanker Tuesday event to get to their server to participate.

With the upcoming i21/City of Heroes: Freedom launch and the included free monthly transfers for VIP subscribers, I would expect a few more to take advantage of the free transfers to shift toons around.

My wife and I are quite happy to be afflicted with altitus, and thus, having a tanker on every server was not a problem For tanker tuesdays, there is no level requirement, just be a tank, we'll get you in on a team, even as a level 1

There are so many primary/secondary combinations, even when just talking about the Tanker AT, and the Tanker Tuesday tour gives me a chance to try out a lot of things I hadn't had a chance to try out yet.

Don't forget Tanker Tuesday Champion will be this evening. Same Tank time, Same Tank channel, same Tank location.

Hi all,

Over the weekend there were several questions as to the status of TT on Justice this Tuesday. I plan on holding TTJ at the usual time and place. We'll make the best of it with the Issue 21 rolling live, updates and patching. Hopefully all will go smoothly and worst-case scenario, we'll just have a bunch of freshly rolled Tanks sporting the proliferated sets.

I imagine we'll have folks showing up a little later due to all the patching fun, so maybe plan on missions teaming, and we'll go from there.

Hmmm... tough choice. Slog through the mid 20s, or start fresh with something completely new... It would have been a much easier choice if Street Justice was coming out

I suspect I won't be around for tomorrow nights TT on Justice. Have fun with the new toys.

What? No Exalted server?

I'm not sure I would want to include "Exalted" in the TT roulette. From what I can tell Tanker Tuesdays have always been an inclusive event. Especially with the Tanker Tuesday Tour.

"We" want to include anyone and everyone who wishes to join in on the fun. Because the soon to be accessible Exalted is a VIP only server, doing a TT on Exalted will suddenly become an exclusive not inclusive event. I'm not sure it fits the original concept of TT to exclude F2P or Premium players from joining in on a TT event. Mayhaps a special edition TT would be in order, but I'm currently not sold on the idea. I'll have to mull it over a bit longer.

Now that I finally got back on to the forums, I can relay Warboss's message:

Even with the emergency patch today, I'll still attempt to run TTD. Tartgeted start time is Noon PT and I'll wait up to 12:30pm to get things going. If the servers aren't up by then, we'll reschedule.
