Is it still possible to simultaneously run two copies of the CoH client on one machine, and if so, how?

I don't need exceptional performance, mainly just looking for a way to do personal SG invites without pestering my friends.

Thanks.

I believe there is an option in the NCSoft Launcher to allow multiple instances of CoH.

I'm at work right now so I can't check where in the Launcher it actually is.

Also, when you load your instances, I would use "/maxinactivefps 5" (without the quotes) on each instance as it will improve performance by limiting the inactive instance until you swap back to it.

I would be happy to check for you later when I get home, but I'm sure someone will beat me to it!

and run in windowed mode. there seem to be issues using alt-tab to switch between active full screens -- or at least there used to be.

In the NCSoft Launcher go to File > Settings > Advanced. There is a check box there to allow multiple instances of the game to be open at the same time.

Also, you might want to create a new link to the game and add the -maxinactivefps 10 option in its Properties. (Change the number according to your hardware specs.)

This way, a client running in the background uses up less computing power and the client you are interfacing with runs much mpre smoothly.

I don't see this setting for Mac osx. Any tips?
