Force Feedback: Chance for +Rech

Straight to the question, is there a limit of FF:Chance+Rech IOs I can put on a build? I'm not talking about set bonuses, just that IO alone.

Yes: 1 per power that accepts KB Set enhancements. So, in other words, for the question I think you were asking, no, there is no limit.

Please note, it apparently self-suppresses, to it is not possible to stack the recharge bonus from multiple uses.

I see. I wouldn't say it is wasted on ST powers as it would increase the chance of proc'ing.

Ty for the replies lads.

Not useless in ST powers, but very useful in AoEs, since the more targets it hits, the more likely it is to Proc.

I can see a good argument for loading up an Eng/Eng with these.

Wasted in ST Powers.
That same article lists Suppression as "historical" information that "no longer applies".

IIRC the supposed "suppression" mechanic is irrelevant anyway as the buff simply doesn't stack.

Yeah, but the earlier suppression method had a much more crippling effect.

Also a bit more useful in powers that are guaranteed to kb, as opposed to those that have a chance to do so, since the chance for +rech is dependent on the power actually inflicting kb, even if the target is itself resistant to the kb on its own.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

Not true. It will roll to proc every time the power is used, even if the power can't cause knockback (for example, if it's in a Dual Pistols attack and elemental ammunition is in use, the power will have a 0% chance of knockdown. The proc will still roll, and will work if it rolls low enough.).

I suspect you're thinking of the rule that governs how procs function in pets. If you were to slot this proc in a pet, and the pet used an attack with no KB attached, the proc wouldn't even roll. (It wouldn't have any effect if it did fire, since pets are immune to +recharge, but that's irrelevant to this example. Just getting that out of the way before someone "corrects" me.)

I updated the article to reflect how the proc works. There is no more suppression. Instead, if the buff is going when it procs again, the buff refreshes, regardless of the power (no stacking).

It is theoretically possible for Energy Blast to have the recharge buff up more often than not (each attack having a 10% chance to fire a buff that lasts 5 seconds)...though in all reality, it is not a reliable source of recharge buff.

I have it in fault, tremor and the epic energy torrent on my brute, if they've changed the suppression rules I'm a happy bunny

Footstomp is of course made for it.

Dual Pistols here.

Empty Clips, Rain of Bullets and Hail of Bullets... all three AoEs take knockback sets. In heavy fighting, the proc is up almost constantly.
