What would make you upset if you had to pay for it?

Honestly, I don't give a carp about staff fighting. It can come tomorrow or never, I don't care either way. It's not really my thing. But don't worry I get the point you're making.
They'll still be releasing issues on the normal schedule, as well as the standard sorts of new content they would release normally, it's just that the store will be full of "extra mile" stuff. That doesn't mean they won't try raising the bar with issue releases, it just means that anything they do extra will be pay content. It's a good plan. It allows them to retain the stuff we've always gotten, but also allows some team members to work on those "pet projects" and powerset experiments that would normally never see the light of day by turning them into pay content.
Or, to put it another way, would you rather not see staff fighting for another four years, or in another six months as a pay-for set that a subscriber can get for free by being frugal? |
I'm well aware of everything you said. Trust me, I'm firmly in the pro-Freedom camp. That doesn't change anything about what I said in my previous post though.

This happens already with purples, PvPIOs, accos etc...there are always going to be some that can either grind out the loot, play the market for the loot or buy the loot from RMT.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!

I'd like to know what they are capable of producing before saying anything would offend me, there are alot of features I would gladly pay for, only one of which has been mentioned <SG transfers> there's also alot of features I would pay for to do without. also see door rooting.
With the new Paragon Market, we're seeing a lot of neat new things for us to have. Most of them are things that have been asked for in the past, some are new things, most make sense to be put in the store - bonus costume slots, character slots, enhancement slots, costume pieces, travel powers similar to booster pack powers, etc.
Is there anything that you would like to be added to the game that you would be upset if it was a store-only item? Like what if they added Epic Power Pool customization as a premium purchase? What about a new epic pool - something on par with current epic pools, but with really nice looking powers? Alternate Mastermind pets (just the physical pet, not a new powerset. Like an alternate style of zombies for Necromancy)? |
... hard question to answer.
Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.

It is a hard question to answer, I spent about 15 minutes typing my response above.

I want a detailed description of the purchase, I want to see it, I also want to know if it's customizable. I want to know every possible detail of that power, I don't want to get a vague description that beam guns can stun your foes...I want numbers and expected utility!
When it comes to the SG issues, I don't feel like we should pay for anything SG after the years of neglect and disrespect.
I will be sooo upset if we have to pay to increase our base capacity. Having to pay to increase the capacity on storage....would really **** me off.

After taking a closer look, the Blaster set has me more excited than the Brute set. Other than the PVP IOs which only work in PVP, there are no +range global bonuses available prior to that set. That plus some massive recharge and defense is amazing. I wouldn't complain about more accuracy and damage neither.
BTW my Blaster is designed for pvp and was built with these targets in mind: Range first, Recharge second, movement speed third, defense fourth.
3 out of the four in one set is perfect.

Although those aren't coming in I21
