Was just about to post, glad I looked up.

Yay! I think it may be tough to get Best Series (but deserving), but Dinklage better and should win for Supporting Actor. I think they'll sweep up the technical stuff.

He's facing real competition with John Noble for Fringe (his first) and John Slattery for Mad Men (his third in a row). Although Dinklage is awesome, his standout "I once brought a jackass and honeycomb into a brothel" speech might prove a little ... awkward in a For Your Consideration show reel.

Sadly John Noble got snubbed in that category. So for me only Allen ******* on Good Wife is really competition for Dinklage.

To be fair, that was a pretty radical new hairstyle at the end of that episode.

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!

Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.

It made me tremble.

To put things in contrast, fantasy and SF shows don't generally get the nod from the Emmys. It's something long-running with them and they tend to give the vote to more 'traditional' and mainstream shows, which is a true shame.

I certainly hope GoT gets more than just costume design and such (simply because that's where fantasy and SF stand out from the pack, being visually unique), but I wouldn't be surprised for a moment to find out any of the GoT actors don't get noticed.

Rome and Deadwood I think also got passed over for acting awards, and those are superior productions to mainstream tv in a lot of ways.

And this was a shame because Ian McShane was phenomenal on "Deadwood." The rest of the cast was rather good, too, (loved Tim Olyphant and Powers Boothe on that show) and they were deserving of some recognition.
