Highlight on a supergroup base: Welcome to Club Ecstasy!

I met with Ridia in Peregrine Island. I had heard about her night club from a friend who is a bit more familiar with the night scene than I am.

Ridia was accompanied by Rockford, a huge troll of a person. He was probably her bouncer, although I never actually tried to clarify that with her. Or with him either for that matter, for I realised shortly afterwards that, while he was very sociable and had quite a funny and, to be quite candid, adorable side to him, he had a few difficulties with his speech. That may have been why I never felt threatened by him throughout the tour.

By the time we reached Club Ecstasy, it was night time and you could see bright shiny stars in the nocturnal sky. I noticed that the area where the club is located is quite peaceful. On the left hand side, a leafy park promised tranquility and warmth to the few wandering souls seeking a welcoming place to rest. I also spotted a very funky bus stop. I suppose they take safety issues very seriously around here. Some of the patrons are said to prefer taking the bus instead of driving drunk. Quite admirable really.

On the right, Ridia showed me the Chinese restaurant and music and book store that she also owns, probably not to supplement her income, since the club is so popular. Later on, I realised it was probably because she enjoys Chinese food, books and music a lot. If you have the money and entrepreneurial mindset, why not! I probably would have a Korean restaurant and bookstore built next to my house if I could!

And then we got to the club itself.

The entrance was quite a statement. Majestic yet simple. My curiosity grew exponentially as Ridia posed in front of her club. I was ready for my first night club incursion in a while! The inside certainly matched the grandeur set by the entrance, with a techno fountain welcoming you before you reach the bar and high ceilings that could accommodate huge and regular supers alike. Ridia told me she had done it all by herself and I believed her. She certainly struck me as being the kind of woman to take the bull by the horns and build her dreams into a reality.

The club is divided into several areas with a main dance floor for the regular crowd downstairs and a VIP area upstairs. But not only that, a wing of the building was separated into 2 diametrically different areas, a fiery hell at the bottom and a techno heaven upstairs. Whatever tickles your fancy, I'm sure you'll find the right place for you, all in one club: Club Ecstasy!

All in all, I had an amazing evening. I danced my socks off in a surprising environment (I even hear they have a secret passage hidden somewhere but I wouldn't know obviously, it's secret!), had delicious Chinese food and was gifted a couple of books I had been dying to read. So thank you Ridia and thank you to the staff at Club Ecstasy, I wish you much success and many more patrons to come!

Wow! That's really some impressive stuff. I LOVE the entrance, magnificent.

I sometimes wish I had more time on my hands to devote to awesome base editing

I also now have a great desire to hit up a club this weekend...

Looks fantastic! How did she get the "disco laser lights" coming down from the ceiling in the 7th picture? I can't find a single light fixture that gives that effect.

It reminds me that I wish the developers would take bases and player housing more seriously. It has been ages since they have thrown the base community a bone while Champions has instituted a fun, albeit basic, player housing system.

Its a shame that a family can be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of wild dogs. - Jack Handy.

I agree with this.
The time and effort to manipulate objects to get the dance club above is just insane.
I don't think they have a developer that can do base stuff anymore :S.
Hopefully with Freedom being launched a greater demand will require action.

The street and starlit sky are what I found most amazing. That must have taken many, many hours of work to put together. My base needs work but, frankly, with no new stuff it's gotten rather boring. I also wish our beloved devs would give us base builders some love.

I'd also love to know how they got the laser light effect. I've never seen anything like that.
