Thought I was being straightforward, if a little cheeky. Honestly, the forumites tend to get word out 30 minutes or more before an official redname does about most everything, whether it's patch notes or an article elsewhere on the site.
It's why I personally check the general section of the forum before announcements.
I'd also checked the server status page to see if there was an announced downtime for today. Saw nothing. So I asked here amongst the crowd that knows. Sheesh.
People are being sarcastic about it because, outside the normal Thursday maintenance window, the Community team are currently VERY good at posting scheduled downtimes in the announcements.

Did 20.5 go straight to live? I thought it was going to test this week.
