Not that I'm really complaining about this, but why now? How long has it been since the one-shot upgrade went in and now this buff happens? Off the top of my head I can think of several friends who'll be happy about this, it's just curious why so long.

The END hit was still less then buffing them all but more than buffing a few, so, it really wasn't an onerous as some people made it out to be, especially since an extra slot of EndRedux in both upgrades took the sting out of the END hit.
Now that the shield buffs are getting the AoE treatment, it was time to re-evaluate the MM AoE upgrade, especially in light of iTrials which has plenty of AoE damage to hit pets hard and cause some MMs to do a lot of resummoning.
And there's a different Powers Team in place that may have different views than the previous team on this issue.

Ascension Armor Parts:
Overall these parts look great but also look unfinished as not all the parts that are similar (shoulder, boots, gloves) have the same look and options across them as seen below:
Shoulders Have: Decor Normal, Decor Radiance (glowie bits), Normal (no fancy engravings), Radiance (no fancy engravings)
Gloves Have: Normal, Radiance
Boots Have (both Ascension & Ascension w/armor): Normal, Radiance
Missing Visual Similarities/Options:
Shoulders: None (could use very minor detail tweak to be more like boots)
Gloves: Decor Normal, Decor Radiance, Secondary color on gloves, like boots have (see below)
Boots (both Ascension & Ascension w/armor): Decor Normal, Decor Radiance

Steampunk Pack:
The new "Victorian Collar 02" aka "choker without cameo" is only in "Standard" heads for females (detail 2). All other categories that have "Victorian Collar 01" are missing 02.
Request: Please duplicate those half vest jackets into the Shirts Category. Shirts has access to sleeves & almost every glove while Jackets has an extremly limited selection of gloves and Sleeveless Jackets has, of course no sleeve option, though it has roughly the same amount of gloves as Shirts. This change would allow the open-vest look to be worn with the sleeves and many many gloves that are currently impossible with the vest+sleeves combo. The Victorian chest detail parts would need to be copied into Shirts also to finish the look.
Group Fly:
Still boosts the flight speed of people in it slower then the Person Casting Group Fly, so everyone falls behind and then out of the sphere.
Suggestion: Increase the flight speed of everyone inside the sphere but the caster to be 10% faster then the caster of the power. This should allow them to keep up with the caster without any issue.

are the costs missing for the ascension armor peices?
- An NPC has been added in Pocket D which allows players to select whether or not they are affected by the movement-affecting components of certain player powers. This setting can be changed at any time by visiting this NPC.
- Affected powers are: Speed Boost, Increase Density, Inertial Reduction, Enforced Morale, and Accelerate Metabolism.
- This NPC can also allow the player to select whether they wish to always accept Mystic Fortune or always reject Mystic Fortune.
- This NPC can also display to the player which Praetorian Arch-Villains they have not defeated for the Dimensional Warder badge.
- This NPC can also allow the player to select whether they wish to receive the benefits of Group Fly / Group Energy Flight or not.
- This NPC can also allow the player to select whether they wish to receive the benefits of Team Teleport or not.

Okay, I do have a second related question: Why did no one point out that this was a bad idea?

Just a quick note, the boots still aren't matching with the rest of the leg options, outside of Tucked In. I think it's missing a layer. Left side is tucked in, right side is Tight. It is the same for all of the other leg options.
The other issue are the new collars. Now I still prefer these over the previous attached version one way or the other, but the backs are still not matching up with, well pretty much any coat options, there is still a bit of a gap..
My advice is to just stretch out the back downward slightly if possible, even if it blends a bit with coats, I would rather have a little blending then a gap, personally.
On another note, while this is done, if you stretched the frame near the neck area in the front just a little and raised the V edge slightly, it would match up better with other coat options (see the 3rd image) and would cover the existing collars.
Aside from these minor details, it's still my favorite pack so far.


Incarnate Trial: The Keyes Island Reactor
Primal Earth heroes and their Resistance allies need to secure the Keyes Island Reactors in order to cripple Emperor Coles efforts to respond to their combined counterattack. Anti-Matter, ever seeking to prove his worth, has taken action by implementing the advanced weapon systems built into the reactor and locking it down.
The event takes place at the Keyes Island Reactor, accessible only via the Team Up Teleporter system. Players are tasked with gaining control over each reactor before they have a chance to confront Anti-Matter himself. Gaining control over each reactor requires re-establishment of the magnetic containment system that contains the antimatter reaction within, effectively nullifying the weapon, which is constantly active throughout the assault. This can only be done by acquiring power cells to install at terminals around the reactor. Anti-Matters guards have secured the cells on site, but acquiring enough will be no cakewalk. In addition, the Warworks guarding each terminal are equipped with a backup lockdown mechanism, and they must be controlled or defeated to access the terminals. Should Anti-Matter himself be present, he must be near the terminal as well so that players can use his biometric override commands to gain access.
