... Dude, you understand this is a friggin game, yes?

We're not actually fighting villains here. Failure is an option. And the rules are not for our survival, nor is not agreeing with you about them some sort of misguided teenage rebellion.

I'm just sayin'

If the team leader has no problem with you going off and doing what you want, that's fine. But if he asks you to stay with the group - then you stay with the group. If you're some kind of a trendy, non-conformist rebel that doesn't like being bossed around by The Man and his evil totalitarian dictator ways? Go make your own team.
This game is one of the easiest games to group in. Attitudes are what kills communities. Be pragmatic, a few wipes, in coh, are not a big deal.

I usually start teams because none of my friends will. For missions, I'm happy to recruit people as well. I'm such a laid back leader that I just generally let everyone do whatever the heck they feel like unless we team-wipe a few times. Then I might suggest that we use some strategy. Or if, say, a blaster takes alpha repeatedly and faceplants (I know, that NEVER happens), I might suggest he let someone else go first.
If I'm leading a TF or incarnate trial, I'll make sure everyone knows what to do and outline a general plan. Aside from that, we just kill stuff and have fun.
I think I've only ever run into one or two d-bags that I've had to kick, and they were pretty big d-bags.

I can't remember the last time it's failed me.
Thanks for this. It's proof that my rules are doing their job of making it fun for everyone. If the rules weren't working, DKTF wouldn't be spreading.

Accusing someone of trolling is considered trolling.

Hello MondoCool,

Yes, and yes. If you call someone a troll, it's trolling. If you tell someone, "Post reported," "Just wait until the mods get here," "You're going to get dinged by a mod," or any kind of post like that, it's also trolling.

...

The same with calling someone a troll--even if they're trolling, you can't do it. And what's more, what if they weren't trying to be a troll? (Not in this specific case, but think of how many times a person with a variance in opinion gets called a troll by other people) Because of this we try to avoid people from calling each other trolls on the board.

Hope that clears it up.

Regards,
Moderator 05

What about accusing someone of accusing someone of trolling?

(Please note... I am just asking hypothetically. I am in no way accusing anyone of accusing anyone of accusing anyone of trolling.)

I accuse you of trolling by accusing somebody of accusing somebody of accusing somebody of trolling.

Yeah, the way I read it, Nalrok's comment was more of a compliment to you, Mondo.
