What is the Victory server?
Victory is a hole.
Some people need to lighten up and learn what a joke is.
victory is a great server, been my home server for the last near 5 years, many a great times ive had
if your around on redside i run a decent villain group, if your interested can toss me a PM
I've been here my entire COH career of 5ish years and never seen any evidence of either of those things, good or bad. I like it and I'll never leave, so I guess there must be something keeping me here.

"Victory has as a reputation in the community as "the unofficial Euro server" and "the unofficial GLBT server" because of perceptions that this server has the largest concentration of these two groups." As an EU player hoping to move servers, I am just wondering if the above statement is true or not. Please reply! |
(Not a hole by ay means , just a tighter knit community)
Much can be accomplished and learned from joining one or both of the relevant channels:
#Victory Badges (Organising - TF's, Teams and etc with a friendly helpful vibe)
#Pride (all servers - GLBTQ chat)
:::MAIN::: Blu Bird / Virtue/ 50- energy/energy - Blaster
I would highly recommended that you don't use that wikia site for your own safety, it's known to house some malicious junk that will eat your babies.. or something.
Anyway, I've always heard of those "labels," but I would wager that they're no more prevalent than any other server. We've definitely got a small-town community feel here on Victory - stick around for a while and you'll start seeing the same names and faces around. Also sport plenty of regular events for all kinds of people (ISOs, PvPU, PERC, TNTFs with Voo, weekly ship/hami raids, VB/VF for TFs and junk, etc).
I hate to be the bringer of bad news... but Willpower sucks!!! you're better off rolling a regen

Hi Kendai, thanks for your interest! I do think we have a fairly large Euro population. We are a close knit server who have a lot of fun. I guess we are our own little family (we can make fun of each other and play around, but when someone outside the family insults one of us... watch it!) We do a lot of tfs, itrials, weekly Hami raids, have an up and coming PvP crowd, ship raids, and even some rp. We have a snarky/quirky bunch of forumites, but if you are willing to put in a little effort, you can make a great home here
On a personal note, I'm MP the first chair of PERC (Player Event Resource Committee). I try to keep plenty of events happening on Victory, such as recent ones Memory Lane and Mayhem Madness. I look forward to seeing new players!

And yet you still find it necessary to troll our threads in order to get to say this. You moved yourself to another server, we wished you well... so please move on. In all sincerity, I hope you are happier on Virtue (or wherever you went). But seriously... saying Victory is a hole now and like 2-4 times during the Ustream cast... I think you have better things to do.

when you left for virtue it was all said and done and now after months of being on virtue your just a troll now

Are there any other widely used globals on victory? Apparently Victory Badges is at full capacity so unable to join.
A good majority of people who participate in the Pride global channel seem to play at least some of the time on Victory. I wonder if part of the reason that the identifiably "gay" SGs aren't as noticeable is that SGs in general are less noticeable than they used to be. There are GLBT folks on all the servers, of course.
There are at least a few Europeans who play on Victory even still.
I've played quite a bit on 5 servers. Victory is the one I keep coming back to. The global channels foster a great community. Victory Badges, Victory Badges 2009 (and when is that merge happening?), and Victory Forum are all good public Victory channels for teaming. Victory is a welcoming place.

Victory Badges 2009
And then when/if you join an SG, many have private channels.

Hi Kendai, I'm glad you're interested in Victory, and we hope to see you around.
I know there are quite a few European players on victory. As for the LGBT community, it's like what was said up-thread, not really any more prevalent than on any other server anymore.
