Babylon 5 is more than a decade off the air and I still cannot see the initials "PPG" without thinking of that show.

I had a great time playing with you!

Curse you people!! I was very skeptical, but I actually find this show quite enjoyable. I will also say that I am quite impressed by their song writers. As a Sondheim fanatic I got a huge kick out of Rarity's Song in episode 14, "Suited For Success". Yes I've already watched the first 14 episodes, hush you!

I've wanted to get to do this for a while now, so...

Yay!

And yes, the songs in this show are very well written. I'm partial to Winter Wrap Up myself, but they're all either good, or bad on purpose. I heard that we might get a really awesome song for the season finale, though. Which is next week.

Chalk up one more MLP:FIM fan who watched everything available this last week because of CoH.

Do I thank you? Do I glare at you? (No I don't have Fluttershy's Glare, but it seems worth learning.) Think I'll just shake my head and wonder, "How did that happen?"

I had skipped it because the character designs not the kind I usually enjoy. This thread got me from "Nah" to "Meh". Then a certain little fanpic was posted...

Glad I watched it, the picture is even funnier now that I know the characters from MLP as well as Teen Titans.

Oh, and the thread has me completely in agreement on the MLP are Superhero front, too.

Now if only there was an Animal Pack 2 booster with a rounded horse head. Still wouldn't really get halfway towards a custom pony since the cutie mark would be on the chest instead of the rump, I doubt there would be colorable manes/hair, and the limbs would be too long... Nevermind, wouldn't be able to get close enough on the CoH costume creator to make the imagination leap.

Say, Obscure Blade? About those MLP parodies? If you have more where that came from, I'd really enjoy seeing them. Especially any crossovers with CoH cannon.

In light of the newest episode "Party of One", I would like to retract my statement that Pinkie Pie is without evil. Friendly tip: When Pinkie Pie invites you to a party, you will attend and you will have fun. It's better for you that way.

I liked this episode, but poor Pinkamina Diane Pie. So cute, so very, very broken.

I need to catch up - I missed the last episode. God, I love this show.

Angry Pinkie Pie scares the hell out of me.

"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict

Yes, after that episode I agree with the 'criminally insane' viewpoint.

Yydr, there are tons of MLP crossover pictures. But most of them are hosted on porn sites so I can't show them to you. I can show you Youtube videos, though: Try Ponycraft, 300 ponies, and the Lord of the Ponies. I'm sure you can find more from there.

And with "The Best Night Ever", the season draws to a close. And what an end it is, starting off with a Disney-class musical number leading into the misadventures of the ponies at the Grand Galloping Gala.

I should probably point out Fluttershy again... Don't make Flutterhulk angry, you wouldn't like her when she's angry. If there's a posterpony for "Beware the quiet ones" it's Fluttershy. I'm beginning to wonder if she's soft spoken and shy by choice, if that's what happens when she lets go. Scary little pony there.

Well, one season down, and a second is already in the works. Looking forward to it, we may see the return of Luna there.

Now to start with, I'm not into MLP:FiM all that much. Caught a couple of bits and it's not bad.

Now then...

Saw this as I was checking a couple of DA sites I look into now and then. This piece was Faved by one of them.

Today on Mythbusters: Ponies

I'd rather link it, cause I think this just might screw up the forums. And I like Jamie's Reaction in the last panel.

Thank you for the time...

Without evil? Did you not see when she threatened Twilight Sparkle's life in "Green Isn't Your Color?" How she plotted against Gilda? Pinkie Pie is CRIMINALLY INSANE.

Did someone say Criminally insane?

So there's this new pony themed music video out using cuts of the show and a parody of a real song. This is pretty much par for the course, there are hundreds of these things all over Youtube. Some are good, some are bad, some are quite insane.

But only one of them is made by the crew behind the actual show.

Pinkie Pie sings "Equestria Girls"
(Yup, same voice actor, too.)

Looks like Hasbro and the Hub have indeed spotted the peripheral demographic, considering Pinkie Pie actually uses the word "brony" and confirms the DJ PON-3 stage name for one of the side characters. I'm not sure what to think about that, except that it's pretty cool.

Okay, that is awesome. I don't know how Hasbro is going to market this show to both little girls and 30-something men, but it's going to be interesting to watch them try.

Until that video, I would have said that the best pony music video was this one, because the lip-synching is near perfect. Also there's this video, which is much shorter but which takes the concept of ponies as Avengers and gallops with it.

Expect more of this madness when the new season comes out, unless the change in creative team totally screws the show up. (I give it a 50/50 chance at this point.)

Well, if there's a Season 1 DVD set released at some point here, I'm going to by it. Also a little tempted to get the actual toys if they make a good faithful to the show design and not just a repaint of the standard My Little Pony mold.

For unofficial pony videos I like the sheer insanity that is Night of Pony, but that's a really nuts video. Then there's the Pony Polka, a video of one of Weird Al's songs. Given the thumbs up by Al himself.

For awesome, though, you can't go wrong with the Super Ponybeats which are Eurobeat remixes of the music from the show. The show's composer likes these. Speaking of him, there's also the 8-bit remixes where he helped out a little with the At the Gala remix. Really, this show has the best fan/creator relationship that I've seen in a long while.

There are more good pony-related stuff on Youtube, but I think I've spent long enough hunting down links for this post. Just one last thing... PINKAZOID!
