I've been told if you run the old updater and let it fix things, then it works.
Just tested it and yeah it works.

Trying to log into the game [running through via the NCupdater if that helps] and no patch was there so clicked play straight away.
Gets to the login screen fine and to the server selection, however chosing a server i get the message
Wrong protocol - get latest version of the game
Then i get sent back to login screen, maint still on? Other people able to log in?
