Yep. Hits all of your criteria except it's squishy out of the box if you try and team-tank with it, like all pure resist sets. But you didn't say 'tank a task force' just 'be great on them'. And it is.

I made my SS/Elec with the OP's goals in mind and it's a beast.

My main is a SS/Elec brute that I love to play because he is a lot of fun, I can easily farm +4 rikti and other mobs, and I can bring him on any TF, Trial, or Raid and can tank and/or do lots of DPS. But there will still be times when you will feel squishy though, and after a few years and despite doing really well with all the new content I find myself looking for a more survivable brute with similar damage output, though I have a feeling whatever I make wont be as fun as my SS/Elec.

Did you IO him out? With all the incarnate stuff and IO's I'm at about 120 HP/Sec and softcapped.

Agreed. My SS/ELA brute, Durahell, has been a lot of fun. Load up on recharge, and you're good for most situations. As for Tanking a TF... well, probably get a little help from support AT's and you'll be tough enough.

I have no earthly idea about Taskforces and their ilk as I don't do them, but my Fire/Elec Brute is turning out to be hella fun and effective

I am now kicking myself for not playing her more than I have...I think she will be my next 50.

Lisa-Was going to run a patron thingy with her, my very first as this is my highest level villain and none of my Heroes have turned bad, but the servers are down..boooo

So don't wait for heroes, do it yourself

SS/SD VERY nice damage,notta main tank but can jump in most mobs and anhilate rather expensive though to soft cap the area's
