The Lambda team that was not with Voodoo Girl successfully completed the trial. My first success with Lambda and a proud owner of a tier 2 Ageless Destiny power. Thanks Voodoo Girl, for organizing and running all of this!

And to Maxi and Talon Blue for successfully leading the Lambda!

The Lambda I led was a complete, abject failure because people refused to listen. And I think I explained it in great detail what we were to do and how to do it?

I did not unlock an I20 incarnate slot yet, but my first success on both a BAF and a Lambda were worth it.

Just venting my frustration.

As much as I understand it's a new experience for some people, I explained in great detail what each phase would entail, and what we would have to do (and how to trade temp powers!)

But again, people did their own thing. I said don't pacify Marauder until we cleared the adds - so someone pacified Marauder while we were still clearing adds. I said don't do it again until we've cleared the adds; so they pacified him right away.

Just venting, that's all. I led to 2 successful Lambdas yesterday, no big deal, it's just frustrating when you're so close, you're doing so well, and it completely falls apart because people don't listen.

/end rant.

P.S.: And I use a general "people" instead of specifically blaming people. It was a team effort.

So let's see...I know the empy merits you can only get two of (one per trial) a day (I think, right?) but what about Astral merits? Is it the same in that you can only get them per day?

Happy to say the other Lambda trial went very successful as Maxi and I split the duties as leaders. Frankly we owned in both trials, I could actually see the difference from the first attempts where no one had anything other than their alpha. With people cycling Judgment attacks it was a breeze. Thanks again, Voodoo.

Thank you very much for calling us together for this, Voodoo. It was just the prod I needed to go and check these new trials out.
Those were my first BAF and Lambda runs and we kicked butt on both.

I have a feeling I am in for a rude awakening if/when I try some PuG runs.
However, I'm hoping to take the knowledge being passed around and be able to lead/help-lead them myself.

I was amazed at how little I (as a Blaster) tasted the floor (The worst of it was the two or three times I dropped while scooting by enemies, looking for Weapon Crates). It wasn't for lack of throwing attacks, so good job in helping to keep me up, everyone!
The prison break was kinda fun... As a Blaster... Sniping those few who thought they'd gotten away, hehe.

Meh, I was the tank, I'll take the blame, though I missed a lot going on in the league channel. Wait for the adds to clear, that Tidbit must have been part of the pre run briefing that I missed, sorry maybe if you'd said " don't forget wait till the adds are cleared" when you were tellin me what ta do with the grenades at the elevator.

Note to others, traded grenades appear in the powers tab, not in a tray so take a sec ta get organized. Also don't tank him, (though his vaunted nova fist alone wasn't enough to drop me...that and spitball though), kite him. I can see how the judgement powers would make taking him down easier. Just wipe out his backup much quicker, even if you didn't bring a lot of firepower along.
