Storing Enhancements

Hello all,

I have been changing a couple of builds on my heroes and am running out of slots on the mules I have to hold enhancements. Heck, I’m having problems just keeping them in the email system too. Is there another place I can hold enhancements? I know the vault holds salvage, but I can’t believe there is not a location for enhancements or recipes.

Thanks!

There are enhancement storage units for bases. They don't hold recipes, but they will when crafted into enhancements.

I was thinking about that. I have a level 50 toon who was in a SG which no longer plays on the server I'm on. I guess I could just build his own SG and add enhancement storage in his own "SG"?

That is what I do, have a private group with 6 enhancement bins and 9 salvage racks so I can craft and store to use later or sell. Enhancement bins hold 100 enhancements and cost 95,000 prestige which can be steep for a new supergroup but if you have lots of influence to burn shouldn't be a problem.

Getting the required prestige also isn't very hard if you get a friend to invite your various alts on that server to the SG- that way all of them will be naturally working towards earning your prestige- plus each character that joins gives you a bonus of some amount of prestige (I thought it was 10,000, but can't recall) as long as they stay in the group.

If he's still in that SG, he's probably the leader if everyone else quit. Just use the storage in the existing base or add to it, and change the permission levels so only you can take stuff out of it.

It's 20,000, for the first 15 members of the SG. That gives you a total of 300,000 prestige to start, which is enough to get a starter base with a workshop and enhancement table. (No TPs or Med Bay, however.)

I keep seven or eight bins of set IOs (plus three with generic IOs) and it is a much for effective way than keeping salvage. Yes the tables are 95k compared to 15k for racks but that's a lot more bang for you money. I just keep enough salvage now to make a crafting/set IO'ing session a little less painful.

The 20k bung from the first 15 members is nice. But get those lowbies played and it makes a nice income. No inf penalty from being in SG mode before level 25. Or stick a 50 in there and TF like crazy. I used to work on about 20k per ITF.

As for med bay - that can be a pain. But porters, just grab a coalition and you're done.

And with the 'per storage unit' granularity on the permission settings, you can do what I did. I have a VG that I bought that I was using for storage and some alts. A couple of friends asked if they could leave their inactive toons in that SG so they would still have access to teleporters, storage, worktables, etc. I just made one Enhancement Table accessible to top 2 ranks only (me) and everything else is accessible to everyone.

I have 6 personal Bases (3 hero, 3 villain) with 8-10 enhancement storage bins each. And I still need more. I play hero side more, so my hero Base bins are all 90-100% full. The villain side bins are 60-70% full. I started shifting inventory via gleemail, but it's a pain.

When I'm planning a respec, I can spend all day going back and forth between the Bases to find the enhancements I need. Or the rare salvage to craft something I didn't have. Yeah, I could make a spreadsheet, but I'm too lazy.
