Why do Praetorian Zone Event NPCs not give rewards??

Something I've wondered since the introduction of them, is the lack of rewards from the mobs in the tasks.

We get the usual things from Rikti, Zombies and Supernatural events, and from troll raves, ghost ships and hellion arsons but we don't get the following from the i19 Zone Events:

Experience
Influence
Enhancements
Inspirations
Salvage
Recipes
Prestige

The Inspirations one bugs me a lot, and the lack of rewards from mobs kind of discourages me to do them on a Praetorian I'd be levelling, as I'd do all that effort just for the end reward.

Has there ever been a reason from the devs as to why there's no reward-y goodness?

They didn't want them farmed. Theoretically, a MM can camp the spot and if his pets are capable to defeat the enemies, he can step away from the computer and level up without doing anything. Events produce infinite foes to a single spot. And since they use the scaling-battle code, the player will never outlevel them.

So, all the rewards were moved to the reward table at the end of the mission.

Seems a little draconian. It's not like the xp reward from invasion Riktis or zombies is that good anyways - I think the only time it's been noticeable to me was when I rolled a new hero and zoned into an AP invasion straight away, and only then because I got snapped up by a team.

And no insps seems excessively tight, given how quickly you burn through them during the events.

I haven't done a Praetorian zone event yet. Have they adjusted the code to the lower level that most Praetorians are going to be? I know the Rikti and zombies are disproportionately tough to any character below level 15 to 20 or so - something to do with them having their hidden baseline [insert techy term here] set to level 25 I believe.

I've never seen anyone doing these event. Ever. This probably explains why.

Good job on creating content no-one bothers with Devs.

I'm not so sure that is a valid reason for the events not dropping rewards.
Due to the fact, that it is not infinite foes spawned to a single spot.

Only one of the events take place in a spot, that does not require moving.
The other two events require you to go inside a building or sewer.

Even then, whether the goals are completed or not, the events are on a timer. And will not respawn for another sixty minutes.

I can't imagine there would be much farming by killing fifteen foes or so every hour.

I just wish Praetorian Zone Events would actually broadcast themselves in the Praetorian Zone Event message box. Works for all hero and villain events, why can't it for Praetoria?

Well, I get the reasoning, sure.

It's just not very good reasoning to me. The fact that it means no inspirations boggles the mind.

I did the Imperial Zone event on one character. I don't plan on doing any more. It's just not worth the effort.

I don't see them run constantly but I do see people running them.

In the initial weeks, I saw people running them all the time. Whenever I wanted to do one, there was already someone waiting to form a team.

My brother was curious about one of the events a couple weeks ago and, when we got to it, there was another person present for it.

Someone on my global asked me just 2 nights ago for some details on the Syndicate event.

How often do you see anyone paying any attention to the Rikti mothership - unless you happen to be there for the 3 hours of the week that it's getting raided?

Most of my characters that "need" the badges or emotes have them already but it was usually a 50% chance that there'd be someone else there waiting to do them or just finishing one.

I think your perception of no one doing them "Ever" is more a factor of the much lower population even in Praetoria at all than anything else.

That's the content I wish the Devs would expand. I LOVE roaming around traveling through Praetorian simply for the beauty of the city. I HATE that there's such a limited supply of things to do there.
