Most Fun Dom for TFs
I've got an Earth/Fire and a Mind/Fire both at 50. Several more in the 40's. I've spent the majority of the last 3 years of my playtime messing with Doms in varying capacities. My favorite by far has been my Earth/Fire/Ice. He really has something for every situation. Great control, great damage, debuffs and dull pain (Hoarfrost).
He's the only toon I've loved enough to 'do the right way.' Perma-Dom down to lvl 22 and a small purple insp from soft capped defense. Tack on perma-hasten at higher levels and the level shift from a rare alpha for even more awesomeness.
The best part is he's still awesome with just SO's because so many powers in earth control are pseudo pets.
Now if only they'd give us Illusion...

My personal favorite is my Ice^3 Dom, but Mind and Earth also really shine in group play. Mind/Fire has been used to do some incredible things, but I've also seen Electric/Earth decimate paper/scanner missions set for a full team. Given, that was with heavy IO investment and a skilled player, but it was a sight to behold.
Still, yeah, I'd say Mind/ or Earth/ (or Ice/ )would be my top picks for team-centric play due to the wide variety of control they bring to the battlefield.
A very skewed user here says Mind/. Confuses for turning nasty SF surprises against themselves, sleeps vs. av's, holds vs. anythings, and a good range of stackability. Also can prep problem groups with 3 aggro-less powers. Special note: the aggro-less powers work when invisible without revealing you, making you the ultimate ghoster.
I like /psi as it's a handy debuff vs. the final av's, and boost survival as well.
Mind/. Especially if you build for permadom.
I'll go with ice/ice/ice on this one. It started as a side project for me but now i can't stop with playing that. Specially if you have permahasten, it's insane. Can't do any single thing at best but can do everything.
I'm planning a mind/fire/fire atm so i'll post feedback about it soon. If any of you have a good build that i can study it'd be appreciated..
I think you can't go wrong with either of those that you have already (Mind/Fire or Elec/Earth). Having a Mind/Fire (my prefered Dom), Fire/Earth, and Earth/Psi, my vote would be for you to finish off the Mind/Fire. Nothing beats Blaze. And on the mind half I prefer Terrorize to any Immob power (wider cone, better control, etc), Sleep is great mitigation allowing you to take on one target at a time, Also with the Mind/Fire you can choose to fight up close or at distance at 100% effectivness unlike Elec/Earth which requires melee distances.
A well kitted out Elec/Psi/Ice with perma hasten/dom is stupid fun in tfs late game. Pretty fun in midgame too. If you dont mind dying once in a while, you can straight up run scrapperlock too. The only thing that really kills you is being dumb. But... the combo is so fun, being dumb starts to come natural with your general unkillableness.

I have a Mind/Fire and a Fire/Thorns. When asked, I say it's like having a blaster with holds and a scrapper with holds. Of the two, the Mind/Fire exemplars better, because it depends less on soft-capped defense. At L 50, I'm not sure which is more fun on TFs, since TFs are chock full of mobs. At times, that Fire/Thorns could steal aggro off [insert name of hated politican here].
Melee oriented doms are at high risk on TFs vs. those final AVs. If you can't hold through PToD, they're going to get some hits on you oftentimes by proximity or their nuke.
Please buff Ice Control.
I have Earth/Thorn, Elect/Earth, Fire/Psi, Fire/Fire and Plant/Ice and I've tried several others (all primary and secondaries at least once).
So far I like Plant best as a primary and earth as a secondary. But I think Fire/Earth is pretty much my ideal mix and once I finish my 5 off that'll be my next project.

I have a Mind/Fire, and honestly he is not as fun to play on TF's compared to the Earth/Fire I have been building. Since hardly anyone does TFs over +0, having your two main aoe control powers on 4 minute base cooldowns makes it difficult to have them up every fight compared to a plant confuse, earth or fire stun, etc. I found myself just blasting most of the time and keeping controls in reserve for emergencies, because often it wasn't worth burning the cooldown to drop the control. Not that it isn't fun to play blaster, but I think it diminishes your role a little bit.
On higher level task forces, where it takes more time to clear groups, I didn't find this to be an issue and it was quite satisfying to play.

I realize there are going to be a multitude of opinions, but I was curious as to what people thought would be the Dom that is the most fun for TFs.
What Doms really thrive in groups?
My highest Dom is a Mind/Fire at 28. I have a level 26 Elec/Earth Dom. I enjoy them both, but I was wondering what people think are the best team oriented Doms? Especially for PUGs.
