Which Tips do you skip?

For Tips farming, I run 40-50 content w/my 50(+1)s (natch), set to +0/x0. Used to be -1/0x, but +0s since I19 for shards. Of those, since time to complete is paramount, I always skip the Sister Jocasta and the Debutante missions, because they involve Knives (read, Caltrops) and/or hostages. The Carnie one w/2 police hostages (one of whom is guarded by Knives) is sometimes skipped, but I usually end up doing it. Same for the Rikti one w/the 4 rescues + object to blow up, Freaks w/3 bombs & 2 hostiles to take out and Council (or 5th?) w/the staged objectives (Oberst, Maelstrom, object). I'll usually do them, but sometimes skip them if I'm feeling lazy, mostly because they're just annoying w/the amount of objects you have to find/destroy/rescue.

On the flip side, Can't Find Your Balance, Scrawled Bark, Ms Thystle and the Malta assassination plot ones are some of the easiest/fastest. The IP ones are super easy too, but I'll try to hit 2 at once to minimize travel time.

I don't skip any because I find them easy. I even took a lowly support toon (or is it caste now? I get so confused with my pathetic double digit IQ), an emp def, from blue to full red with no stealth or super duper IO sets. I found them fun and a fresh challenge.

The Jocosta mission...however her damn name is spelled. It's the only enemy group I don't like. I hate Knives with such a passion. Caltrops stacked 4-5 times is just stupid.

No one pays attention to me, cause I listen to the voices in my head.

The Malta Black Panther one. But not because it's hard, because I hate the wait in between the ambushes. It's like doing a Respec Trial with no team to talk to

I sometimes skip the Maelstrom mission just because I hate chained objectives.

The missions I love are the stealthy ones:
Shattered Jar of Flesh (stealth to two bosses)
Some Nut on Talk Radio (stealth to a boss, plus one glowie)
Doc Quantum's Moral Quandary (stealth to hostage, plus an ambush)
Blatantly Fake Malta Plans (stealth to hostage, plus an ambush)
A Biting Wind (stealth to a hostage, plus one glowie)
Scrawled Bark (stealth to room with boss and 4 hostages)

My question is, does anyone do the "One Good Spider" hero morality mission instead of "The Usual Suspect"? I can do "The Usual Suspect" in less than 5 minutes. The other one takes me 30 at least.
I'm in the same boat here although I don't generally skip missions, I just don't like them. But I really like the tip mission system as a fitting risk vs reward for players who like to max out their toons and play solo. Generally, the more solid your build is, the faster you can run these missions and get a valuable reward. However, missions that are just arbitrarily lengthened by mechanisms like timed ambushes, or having to wait for caltraps patches to go away before the hostage you rescued realizes they've been rescued, or bosses who spawn 6 pets and phase in and out are just annoyingly time consuming that can't be countered (much) with build strength.

In regards to "one good spider" vs "the usual suspect"... imho, the problem is that "the usual suspect" is too short... one good spider is the appropriate difficulty and time investment for something as valuable as a hero merit. I'd like to see the rest of the alignment missions brought up to that level.

I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.

I admit that RvR seems wrong for "The Usual Suspect". The first time I ran it, the cop was in the very first room, and I finished it in under 5 minutes even reading the story. I thought "there's no way that's as intended". But even now it is common for the hostage to be on the first floor. The only time the mission lasts longer than 5 minutes is if the hostage is towards the back.

Westin Phipps, because you don't actually get to give the little worm the slapping he so deserves.

I don't drop the KoA all the time, I just imagine that there are 5x18 wheelers, out the back, just loaded with caltrops.

I agree about the ones being listed most being annoying.

The whole stealth / escort thing bugs me a lot. As with others my only defense will often come from steamy mist or the like.

The tip I hate the most is red side where you have to kill two helpless heroes. It's like even evil greedy people can have some honor or ethics. I think that one should be changed to you capture them and/or click them and the med transporter goes off.

I dont like many of the vigilante to villain tips. To grim and sadistic for my taste.

I dont know I skip any, though I will likely start with the two hero one now, just never thought of skipping them before i guess.

Along the same thought, does anyone adjust the difficulty up or down to run tips?
