Hami Raid (Abyss)- Saturday Feb 5th @9pm

Hey all, I know this may be last minute, but I just found out that I have some free time this Saturday night so I wanted to offer to organize a Hami Raid in the Abyss. I'm hoping we can get some hero ATs, especially tanks, in there like we did at the last red-side raid. As of today, you should have enough time to go Vigilante if you are currently a full Hero so you can enter Rogues Isles. If we can get enough people, we can then see who can get the most incarnate shard drops at the end!

Cool! I'll try to make it tomorrow night. Did you want to set up an EOE farming run tonight on Monster Island? This is considering that the last time we tried to clear the monsters in The Abyss, Hami spawned almost immediately after the 2nd was defeated.

Sorry, forgot to clarify that this is 9pm EST, so I believe it's 6pm PST(?). Also, I don't have time to organize an EoE farming, but if anyone can bring any left over EoEs that would be great. I have about 300 EoEs stored, so I'll be passing them out like candy on Saturday. Cyas then!

I think I prefer the method we used to the usual green & blue team lineup. Maybe it was just that this was my first time as a team lead but it felt a lot faster.

If called upon to target again, I must remember to make a chat macro or two. I can't blame anybody for not being able to type Exabecquerel from memory.

It was a great run last night. I enjoyed my dom out there and it was quick and fun.

Hopefully this will be a sign of what to come.

All 4 waves seemed to go very smoothly without a hitch once we hit the goo! Thanks to Otelo, Snow, & Vanden for organizing the hami taunt team, Cath for organizing the yellow mito distractors, and Exabecquerel (@Umbral Hunter) for being targetter for the main mass. Sorry it took awhile for things to get set up properly, but because we took the time to do so, each wave seemed like cake. I was told there was an issue on the Hami Taunt team with a 3rd tank on the team insisting on tanking Hami when it wasn't their assigned role, rather than attack the yellows to help the team get more shard drops. Since it looks like that team can tank Hami sufficiently w/ 2 solid taunters, an emp, and a kin, I'm going to try to make the adjustment to make sure the last 4 spots on the team are comprised of scrappers/stalkers and corrupters/blasters. Hopefully that will get more shard drops for that team. I was able to get about 11-12 shard drops (including the 4 shards from the reward table) after the whole thing was done, woot!

Haha, I've been your SG mate for how many years already and I still haven't been able to get it right! Every time I had to refer to you in Request, I just highlighted on you and typed $target

For future reference, it's a good idea to recommend that people add target leaders to normal friends and leave the friends list open.

That's something I learned from the few pre-i9 raids I visited. I'm sure you remember that Batz, but I think it's gotten lost in all the different strats we've developed post-i9.
