I both love and hate it.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

If you don't want to team you don't have to, however, if you are being rewarded for team content that should tell you something about the game, it's your 15$ (or less). But just because you don't want to do a S/TF don't say it is grinding.

Before this issue came out I did one successful STF, most people didn't like STF because to some it seemed too hard. Afterwards I have been able to do 3, I like the way that the dev team is promoting all content and making sure everything gets played.

Again I would have to say it is far from grinding, even for the badges, you get one at 10 and another at 50. If you do just 2 WT/SFs a week for a year you will have it, how fast you want to get it is up to you.

They announcement it was ITF was up for a very, very short time and was pulled.

That should have been a clue it was not official.

So, they really didn't 'change' anything. We *really* didn't know what next week was going to be.

Oh, this is a lot more clear. I thought you have to hit STF 50 times to get a notice.

No. The fact that this gives the Notice of the well is a bonus - the WST's sole purpose isn't the notice however.

That is correct. If you do a WST on Monday, then you will get the reward for the new WST on Tuesday.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

Nope, the Notice of the Well is not the only point of the Weekly Strike Target. It's just a nice bonus for a level 50 Incarnate slotted character.

It also grants double merits (which is awesome for some of the higher Merit TFs like Sister P and Synapse)

And it also grants a buttload of bonus XP to non-50 characters. Up to 2/3rds of your level worth of XP to be precise.

I'm actually glad they aren't going to have us running the same 4 TFs over and over and over and over.

Currently the only way to gain Notices is via the WST, and you can only gain one per character per week.

I am not saying that providing a weekly task force with it's other benefits isn't great for lower level characters. I agree that the additional benefits are kind of nice for leveling characters.

What I am trying to get across is that pushing lvl 50 characters to do level 20-25 content to get an Incarnate tier 3/4 recipe piece doesn't make sense to me.

The other option is to repeat the same few level 50 TFs over and over and over. Which is worse? The devs have apparently decided that they prefer more diversity of both TFs and a which characters can do them. There's a down side to that, as you pointed out, but I can see the upside too.
