Dear RNG,

I just wanted to tell you how wonderfull it was hanging out with you last week. I had a great time and i appreciated all the wonderful treats and presents you gave me. In such a short time of 6 or 7 days i never really new how nice an rng could be. You really surprised me and it meant a lot to me and to my account. That one time in Pi was a real great run.
So its with much difficulty now that i ask why you wont come over anymore, return my calls or even email or texts. I checked your facebook account and its very inactive. I cant help but wonder if its something i said or did.
Anyway please let me know if there is anything i can do to get you back in my RNG. Its just not the same since you left. And i hope youll play with me again.

p.s. hurry back rng.

The RNG is always with you even if you don't notice it.
Look back at your tracks in the sand...
The places where you see only one set of tracks is where the RNG was particularly nice and carrying you.

The places where there's two sets of tracks is where the RNG was strolling casually along beside you occasionally tossing you a treat and sometimes laughing behind your back.

And of course the areas where there's an impression of a full length body with the head imprint the deepest part is where the RNG knocked you down and was jumping up and down on your head shouting, "Say my name, *****! SAY! MY! NAME!"

RNG is always with you in game, it's just not always your BFF.

Yeah, the distinction between the LotG 7.5% and the GotA 7.5% is probably what Rudyard Kipling meant when he wrote "If you can meet with triumph and disaster / and treat those two impostors just the same".

The RNG is . . toying with me. With my fire/fire tank my solo-ability varies wildly depending the which groups I'm facing. Yesterday my tip missions were against groups like the council and Nemesis, where I can crank it up to x7 or x8 and I got jack from it. Today I'm facing Psi heavy groups and have dropped it back to x2. I've gotten 2 purple recipes and 4 rare salvage out of two missions so far...

I almost afraid to turn in an Amerit today... but I will, just to see if I get the worst possible results or what .

Edit: ah, I appear to still by in cat toy mode. My roll got me a gift of the ancients 7.5% followed immediately by a luck of the gambler . . . the cheapest one. But it looked good at first glance as it scrolled past. And 3 pieces of junk that I doubt I could give away. Oh well, I suspect something like that would happen.

My stone brute treats them just the same, I think he has 4 of each slotted But he'd prefer to drop the former and buy the latter.

The RNG and I have an understanding. I don't make it work harder by rolling on merits, and in return I get purple drops from tip missions. So far it's been an excellent relationship.

Would you say that you have an "open" relationship? Because I could get in on that.

Ooh, a sarcasm detector. Oh, that's a *real* useful invention. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolog...t-sarcasm.html
