My main really isn't all that awesome when you get right down to it. Palrah gets the job done, but he's just a WP tank with a middle-of the-road IO set build, and a non-twitchy, non-gamer "old chick" at the controls... He's not the least bit scary.
I still adore him, though. He's my favorite because he's such a cute, good-natured goofball... a total boy-scout. It has very little to do with how tough he is in a fight or what his numbers look like. ^_^

I switched mains to my Fortunata after I found out how truly awesome they could be. But what makes Sicaridae so much fun is that she's mean.
- You know how people tell you to go play in traffic? After Sicaridae looks at you, you feel the urge to go without being told.
- After disrespecting Sicaridae, you might find large portions of your childhood memories missing.
- Before you open your mouth to speak, Sicaridae has already slapped you for your comment.
- Sicaridae is so mean that after she glares at puppies, they kick themselves.
- Westin Phipps tells her to chill out. Regularly.
- Sicaridae makes her team fight harder and better out of fear of what she'll do to them if they don't.
- Every gust of wind Statesman feels on the back of his neck makes him turn around to be sure it wasn't Sicaridae.
- Sicaridae doesn't need Fallout or Vengeance. She'll hurl her teammates bodies at her opponents if that's what it takes to win.
Now, as for Aerik...you punch him a lot. He heals. That's about all he's got.

Fitzsimmons was never my main but the name was free so some months ago I created a peacebringer and PLd him to 50. Doubt I'll ever dump IOs into him but you never know! The name Fitzsimmons was more of an excuse to use Richard Simmons as an avatar. I love that guy!
I don't have a main but with near 60 50s, most built out I have a lot of toons that are fun to play. My namesake toon and my first villian (ss/stone) runs at 28mph in granite. I have yet to respec him but I can probably eek out a bit more run speed.
My favorite toon is probably my fortunata, Unsteady Eddie. He likes to drink his own urine. Top that Sicaridae!

My main was an alcoholic - but for good cause (or so he thinks). His powers were only sustained by his binge drinking. Science Fire/EM Blaster.
He quit drinking for his true love then eventually became a normal person.

What's more awesome than my main? 8 "main" toons at once, that's what. When I19 first launched, everyone was dusting off their namesake toons to alpha slot them, and I got to run the Apex/Tin duo w/pretty much everyone playing their "mains". Even though it was mostly our first time through those, we pwned both TFs, got MoApex and only missed out on MoTin cuz of the mines.
