GM Issues?

All,

I've been playing this game for over 6 years now. I've had a great time and have nothing but good things to say about the game.

However, more than once now, I've had an issue where I've had to send a petition that has been routed to a particular GM. Whenever I've gotten to this GM, I've had issues with him that I will NOT go into here.

Does anyone know if there is someone I can contact requesting help with a specific GM in that I have issues when he works my tickets? Is there a place or a format for this kind of stuff?

I am NOT getting into details. This is private business, but I was hoping someone might be able to point out where I go in the fine print to find a person to PM, an email address to write to, or a phone number to call.

Thanks in advance.

Happy gaming!

If the GM in question is not a senior GM, you can ask for it to be referred to a senior GM, if he is, I don't know what you do.

It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba

Sadly, it is a Senior GM. :-/

Sometimes you can get an e-mail to take a survey about your experience. You could simply talk about your experience with the GM there.

Or try sending a PM about it to Avatea.

It looks like Midori Days (美鳥の日々, Midori no Hibi). That's Seiji who is known to have a devil's hand. His sis trained him to be quite a brawler.

Yes, that's Midori Days. Sadly, that's the ONLY good action in the whole set. His "Demon Hand" that would let him hit like that got transformed and inhabited by a teen age girl. Silly Japanese romantic hijinx ensues....
But the punch is GOOD.
That's what I always imagined Super Strength to be like. I keep praying that someday the CoH/V/GR devs will upgrade the engine to make combat more dynamic and punching through walls, swatting foes with light posts, and slamming evil robots through the pavement into the sewers will be part of the game someday.

Maybe... who knows?

His hand is inhabited by a teenage girl? That has to be one of the creepiest concepts I've ever heard of.

I'd think it's on the same level as Birdy the Mighty.

Unfortunately, many of the Game Masters are pretty uptight.. The rules have changed much amongst the years and they are unable to help the way they used to.

It used to be if for example a mission in a strike force was bugged, they'd drop the mission for you. Now, if a mission is bugged during a strike force, your team has to quit and start over no matter how far along you are, as some GM's are not permitted to drop missions / do much of anything but unstuck your character.

If you are having trouble with a specific GM, I'd start by contacting a community specialist with your complaint.

Personally, I love PlayNC's support team and have never had to deal with a GM being rude or anything of the sort, if they don't do something for you, it's likely just 'out of their hands', otherwise they are usually more than happy to go out of their way to help under most any circumstance.

I don't agree with this. I've been in at least 4 situations fairly recently where a GM responded in a reasonable about of time and was able to "unstick" the situation without a problem.

- a praetorian mission had no objective, possibly an ambush missing.
Mission was completed by a GM

- another praetorian mission was missing an objective
Mission was completed by a different GM

- Positron Task Force: Part 1. The ambush from City Hall went back inside the building and there was no way to go in and defeat them because you need to kill them before you can enter.
A GM TP'd them to the Atlas statue so we could complete it.

- Whole team crashed while finishing a certain mission during a TF and we had to repeat the mission when we all logged back in because it reset itself. After crashing a second time, I sent in a /petition. We waited outside the mission.
About 10 minutes later, a GM showed up. After a few minutes of explaining the issue and a couple more minutes for the GM to "research" the problem, the TF was advanced to the next mission so we could continue.

I'm sorry your experiences have not been similar.

Actually his hand becomes a teenage girl, a hand size teenage girl. Has to get her clothing, bathing is sort of an issue, etc. Crazy romcom hi-jinks.

I always thought of Birdy along the same lines as Ultraman, two beings occupying the same body but can actualize individually while the other is in the background. It's just in Birdy's case theother is an alien female humanoid of our size instead of a 300 ft tall alien in a red and silver jumpsuit with a light on it's chest.
