Gremlins...
Really, I slot mine as you would slot any other pets. They are a good addition to your damage particularly when you solo. They also have a nice little damage aura that allows them to pseudo-tank for you.
Once you get to the point of IOs, the Expedient Reinforcement set is your best bet. It does have a +resist aura that makes the gremlins a little more resilient.

Basic opinion? Kind of disappointing. They are pretty squishy, so you have to re-cast them often. The amount of damage they do is a bit on the low side for a control set with such low damage. Plus, the Jolting Chain they keep casting can be frustrating, especially against lower level foes where the knockdown becomes knockback.
But they look cool and provide some damage, so they are badly needed. I just wish the damage was increased a bit.

I went with three Damage/Acc Hami-O's in my final build.
You could go with the Expedient Reinforcement set. Or go 1 Acc/3 Damage and get the defense/resist IO's for pets in the build.
The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.
If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-
I went with Expedient Reinforcement myself. What I do note and bugged today that for some reason several times one of them just refuse to follow and I have to recast them. And it's not getting stucked.

Unlike some mastermind pets, I've never noticed my Gremlins having endurance issues. So basically Damage, Accuracy, and Recharge is all you need. And yes, they're a bit squishy, so you definitely want to make sure you slot some recharge in there, or have your global recharge increased via set bonuses, Siphon Speed, and/or Hasten. There have been times when I've cast them to have them wiped out quickly, then had to wait a couple minutes before I can cast them again.

The only problem with defeating the Tsoo is that an hour later, you want to defeat them again!

I know this is a somewhat old post but I wanted to add, so far I am very disappointed in the gremlins. Not only do they die very easily and the damage they do is a joke but just like another poster mentioned one is always getting stuck, well stuck is the wrong word he just stops following.
Anyway the point of the post, I'm elec/rad/ice currently lvl49 about to be 50 I have 5 pieces of soulbound ready to go and was wondering about peoples opinions if I should throw in an extra slot into the gremlins and get the +10% resist? This set is low on damage (as most controllers are) so I would like to get the most out of em but if the resist doesn't help that much I can use the slot somewhere else.
I really wish they would up the damage or just give us a 3rd one like imps.
Many people have reported that /releasepets followed by resummoning fixes the pets getting stuck problem.

Any opinions on slotting?
What is the communities general consensus on them?
I just leveled up my Elec/Rad to 32 and I guess I was expecting a lot more.
In time, I'll come to forgive you.
