I felt RNG love last week, Wednesday.
I charged a group of +1/x8 Rikti in a Borea mission.
From that group came the following:
Mako's Bite: Acc/Dam/End/Rech x2
Absolute Amazement: Stun
Absolute Amazement: Endurance/Rech
As I already have one piece of AA I respecced and slotted them in to my rez.
My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor

Yup had the RNG's blessing during the Lady Grey Taskforce run yesterday.
One group of Rikti gave me 2 Incarnate shards and someone else the Armageddon proc.
I have been on three TFs with various Incarnate'd alts, and I notice something odd:
*the laziest, most goof-off ninnyhammer on the team will get 7-8 shards.
*a few others will get two or three.
*one or two on the team will get none whatsoever.
Its enough to make me want to do a little door-sitting, to be honest. I recently tanked Reischmann and got nothing whatever for my pains, while Ninnyhammer #1 was giggling with glee as shards fell like rain. "Random"? Suuuuuure. [Spare me the scolding: I know random when I see it, and one person getting almost all the drops on an entire TF ain't it. Especially when this happens three times in a row.]
I am not at all accusing Guy here of using these tactics, let me make that clear. It just kinda makes me want to solo.
Hmm I'm seeing the opposite BI and seeing a usually fairl even distribution of Shards on the Taskforces I run, almost everyone will get between 6 and 10 shards and I've never seen anybody get none, sometimes on Taskforces that don't lend themselves well to kill all or (as I prefer to) Kill most (you kill everything on the way to the target but don't clear the map) such as the Khan Taskforce (which has two huge outdoor maps which would take a decent chunk of time to clear) where someone only got 3 shards and the rest of us were on 6 or more.

My annoyance would be less if someone working hard were collecting the 7-8 shards, but no. Its always someone hanging around doing nothing except making sexual puns, acting as a non-hosping area rug, etc. That sort of grinds my gears.

Last night on an ITF I got three shards within about 15 seconds. It was pretty nice.
Comrade Smersh, KGB Special Section 8 50 Inv/Fire, Fire/Rad, BS/WP, SD/SS, AR/EM
Other 50s: Plant/Thorn, Bots/Traps, DB/SR, MA/Regen, Rad/Dark - All on Virtue.
-Don't just rebel, build a better world, comrade! The screenshot I posted was from an ordinary Borea mission in Rikti War Zone. We weren't running a Task Force. (-:

The Random Number God, who chooses those he adores and those he despises, has smiled upon me today with a blessing. He bestowed on me two Incarnate Shards, with not so much time between them that the "Incarnate Shard Bonded" message from the first could tarry away before the second one was placed in the queue. For these Shards were not merely close together, but came from consecutive enemies.
