Dear forumites,

Since the inception of Issue 19, I thought it would be nice for us to have a little community based info section on Issue 19. Please post questions you have or hear others asking and the answers to questions you can answer so everyone can easily transition through this new issue smoothly. Kthxbai!

Good idea, Ever. Currently I have seen two posts regarding Vigilantes who cannot start Remiel's Incarnate arc. So, FYI and all that.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

Has anything been added so people can see I am already in an SG before they spam me with tells asking to join theirs?

Per the patch notes, I am under the assumption that the persons stating that problem may not have GR installed and on thier account. It specifically states that unless GR is attached to a persons account they won't be able to access the incarnate abilties or the new TFs that are required to attain them. If I am wrong let me know. I would suggest telling those folks they need GR.

Yes, you can level toons from preatoria to level 20, then you can simply put them into your SG/VG. Before issue 19 you would lose the prestige from these toons when they quit or got deleted, but now your SG retains the prestige after such actions are taken. Hope this helps.

This can't be the problem. To become a vigilante in the first place requires you to be able to change your alignment, which requires GR.

You also don't need to "install" GR since anyone who has an up-to-date COH installation already has all the necessary files.

Very True, any theories?

Too many story arcs. No-one ever remembers that there's a limit on how many arcs you can have going at once. You can spot them by the little book icon below the contact's picture. Try finishing one and speaking to Ramiel again.

You can tell if this is going on because he'll give you the "too many missions" dialogue, even if you have no missions.

The real reason seems to be that if you have a certain story arc open, even if you're not full on missions, you won't be able to talk to Ramiel and he will act as if you have too many missions. The story arc in question is the one where you join the Midnighters. If you don't complete it all the way by talking to Imperious it will somehow block Ramiel.

That'd be because the Ramiel arc requires visiting Cimerora (minor spoiler, but whatever). If you haven't done that arc, you can't finish Ramiel's, so he won't give it to you unless the arc is finished. It's the closest thing the game has to a "able to access Cimerora" flag, but if you get up to the "speak to Imperious" mission and don't talk to him, you can access Cim but haven't finished the arc.

You don't actually go to the Cimerora zone, though. You go into a mission instance (accessed from Ouroborous) which is *said* to be in Cimerora, but mechanically it's not.

I still think it represents an arc-block, but I haven't experienced it myself so I don't know.

Here are a few more things our folks have thrown into the pot. None checked for accuracy, but if there is a problem let me know, we can update it.

Q: Can you Access Incarnate Slots if you don't have going rogue installed?

A: No, According to the patch notes you Must have going rogue installed.

Q: Can I do the new TF's if I don't have Going Rogue?

A: Per the patch notes, Not yet. You will need Going Rogue.

Q: Why can't I access my inherant Health and Stamina since the update?

A: You have to do a respec before being able to access the "Inherant" powers now available.

Q: How come Mender Ramiel won't talk to me?

A: If you haven't done the Cimmororan arch that leads up to "Talk to Imperious" Mender Ramiel won't talk to you. Please do the Midnighters arch up to "Talk to Imperious"

Q: Is the only way to open my Incarnate slot by running Task Forces?
50+

A: No, besides having to run the Ramiel arc, you can get random minor component drops from defeats in any mission even streep sweeping. In addition Vanguard merits can be traded in to get components as well.

Q: What level bad guys drop the components?

A: Any baddy that is level 50+ can drop a component. Note: These are not like purple drops. You will not get a component if the baddy has a chance to drop level 50 drops (ie lvl47-49). The enemy HAS to be 50 or higher.

Q: What is the drop rate?

A: Exact rate is unknown, in my experience it seems to be a bit higher than a rare salvage drop, but from what others have said a bit lower. Random drop is Random.

Q: Am I locked into a slot once I crate my alpha boost enhancer?

A: No, these are not like IO's and shouldn't be thought of as similar. You can crate and have the boosts for all 4 trees and change them accordingly.

Q: Does my Alpha boost give me global bonuses?

A: No, again, these are not like IO's. If you have an alpha boost that grants 33% recharge bonus, that is not a global 33% boost. That means that any power that can accept recharge gets an extra 33% boost to that power. In addition this boost does not work if you exempt below level 45. Powers that do not accept a specific IO but still benefit from that stat if slotted with HO's and IO's (ie accuracy in Choking Cloud or recharge in Mind Link) will NOT receive a benefit from the alpha slot of that stat.

Q: What level do I have to be to complete this Incarnate arc with Meander Ramiel?

A: you need to be a level 50 and should have an Ouroborus Portal and have completed the Midnighter's Arc (contact found inside the university at Steel Canyon in the library).

Q: If multiple players are running a team in the Ramiel/Incarnate arc can they auto complete their missions?

A: You can enable the auto complete option (found under the drop down menu at the top under options, then under team options it's under collaborate missions). The talk to parts of the story arc must be done by each player to get the credit, but the actual missions can be collaborated. Several players were with us that did not use the enable option for collaboration and they failed to complete their missions with us DUE TO NO PROMPT to complete the mission. We think this may be a bug, so make sure you manually choose to enable this option to collaborate the missions.)

Q: Can any level player join a team doing this arc?

A: You must be at least lvl 25 and have an "O" portal, because the missions begin in Ouroborus.(Recommendations: We had a team set at 0 x 0 for difficulty and all 8 of us took the missions and completed them in a timely manner. Most of us were picking toons that were STF capable (also ITF for those that like to run that task force) so if we do run a STF the toons will have this availability open already and will be able to use the salvage to make the alpha/incarnate abilities.

I have a question, we can have 1 of each right? (IE: Cardiac, Musc, Nerve, and Spirit). So if I goto make my first Cardiac while having a Spirit Tier 2... the Cardiac wont overwrite the Spirit, losing it?

No it won't 'overwrite' -- Any additional boosts you make that don't require using a previous one will remain in your inventory -- you can swap them out as you please (there is a short cooldown)
