If i ever do that tf ill post it.. did lgtf last night with no prob. died once on hammi, no idea why.

I recently built a Dark Armor/Stone Melee tank and while I think Dark Armor is a good set, IMO it needs quite a bit of IO help to make it shine. Its also really really end heavy and has no end recovery in the set. I would have like to have seen both in the set.

The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.

If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-

Yeah before IOs it sucked bigtime .. if you put some time in there great. A real challenge.

If I recall correctly Stone Melee is also a fairly end heavy set in of itself. That was part of the reason I'd gone with Dark/Dark on my first dark tank to try and make sure I had some way of replenishing my endurance along the way. Not even fully IO'd the tank does pretty well in most situations I've put it through.

Dechs has done a nice job of being the current "loud voice" shedding light on how good dark tanks can be built using IOs.

My video was recorded with WeGame (free), and the movie was put together with Sony Vegas (not usually free). Vegas lets you do a lot more with video than Windows Movie Maker, but I doubt it's worth the investment (if you plan to actually buy it).

Hami isn't like other enemies. The only way to contend with damage from him is with EoE insps. He floors your regen and makes it so you can't be healed. If Hami aggs to you and you have no EoEs and can't get away fast enough, you will die regardless of AT and what powers you have.

Protip: Dark Armor's heal is flagged unresistable.

He still generally does enough damage to drop you, but it takes a while. One Soul Transfer and by then your team has him dead.

Speaking of your vid. I noticed at the beginning that you used a pull down menu to activate your shields. I'm new to tanking as being a controller and master mind mostly, and I've never seen that before on a tank. Is that something you can share on how to do? It would free up some serious space on a tray.
