Market/Trade Flubs

So I just had a big one, went to hit G to give 4 glad jav procs, 1 miracle proc, 3 lotg 7.5s and a glad jav triple to my alt. What I didn't notice until I'd *given* them all away to him was that I'd hit D instead of G every time I right clicked on an enhancement. Bye bye.



Anyone else have some big market/trade flubs that cost you big time?

ouch.

my most costly was 25 mil, and that was a couple days ago.

Dragging and dropping a full set of armageddons to a friend while the "drag and drop" bug was in the game, effectively deleating the entire set.

I had to chuckle.

I once paid 1.5bil for something going for 1.5mil. I get in a habit of hitting the "0" button in 3's and wasn't thinking about what I was doing.

I vendored a purple recipe once. Suffice to say, I haven't made that mistake again.

I think the worst I've ever done is paid 10 mil for a piece of rare salvage instead of 1 mil. No amount of caution is ever wasted when it comes to using the market interface.

Long long long time ago I vendored an Apocalypse (can't remember which). Since then I basically craft my purples asap after getting them.

Thankfully I've never done the G/D mix up, probably because I pay so much attention to that, I have envisioned it happening many times D:

Just yesterday, and I still don't have any idea how it happened, I apparently put an Apoc Acc/Dam/Rech on the market for 30mill. I could swear that I was putting the Absolute Amazement that I had just gotten up for sale.

I deleted an acc/dam HO while super jumping.

I lost a ribo to the market because I didnt log in a toon within 60 days... I am so glad they removed that.

I sold a 150mill crafted enhancement for 40mill... It was from a drop and not from merits so I wasnt too upset.

This weekend, I accidentally bought a stack of 10 pieces of a somewhat common salvage (I want to say Thorn Tree Vines) for 35 million each.

This weekend, I also accidentally deleted 2 Apocalypses

It was long enough ago that i have conveniently forgotten what i did.. but i do remember it as a 80million inf mistake. This was before I had a few billion hanging around. Roughly was 75% of my global influence. This past August I went on vacation out of state and 'forgot' to claim a few things off email before they expired. Suffice to say, since they weren't in email anymore the expiration monster ate em. To this day, i can't remember what i had stored in email. I now check the dates weekly and claim/re-email stuff at the 30 day mark.

Before the market merge, I was sure the price of Luck Charms would sky-rocket, so across about 4 servers with the tons of alts I've accumulated, I probably bought about 1,500 Luck Charms.

I still have most of the f!@#$%ing things.

So email system.. what happens after the 60 and it gets returned to you and that 60 days expires??

or did I pull that stuff out on some toon...

This just goes to show you, force, that you are not alone, my friend. I deleted a bunch thinking I was clicking G and hit D... problem was they were not mine and I was xfering them for someone. I had to go buy them all for this person again.

Gah! Email rollback. I just lost nearly a billion in recipes/enhancements/influence that I placed in my email yesterday.

Evidently, without knowing the specifics, it's gone forever.

This is not my week for pretend possessions
