Yep one sg one vg. I know some people will not want to join and that is fine too I just need to be able to find out what level they have gotten too so I can plan the match ups.
Global channels have been offered by Gris and Bambi (maybe I can even talk them into letting us use their Teamspeak server) however since I think the global chat channel cap was moved up we might go ahead and start our own channel.

Generally, though, people wind up feeling like Shamster on Friday night; alone, confused, and not sure how they beat themselves so thoroughly without having accomplished anything.
(I'll probably have my enter key unbound during these sessions for the character to avoid any misinterpretations and/or ill feelings from the Fluxs' in the group)

My question:
Since normally you slot pvp builds at level 50, we are we doing in the mean time as we level up? Slotting basics? Not slotting anything at all?
Sorry if I missed this. I just don't want to show up at level 20 with the wrong thing.

Ele- I'm sorry matches will have to be when everyone can make it (which when I designed this was going to be Sat 9pm est). We can be somewhat flexible with practices and such but matches unless everyone agrees will be on the weekends.
MP- As I am trying to not have people break the bank to make a pvp toon (trying to shatter the myth that to pvp you have to spend BILLIONS) I would strongly suggest to everyone to just use SO's. I am strongly against people slotting low lvl IO sets and/or Generic IO's. I will not be able to police the generic IOs but slotting up lvl 25 LoTGs would give someone an unfair advantage over the people who can not/do not want too spend that much inf.
Therefore: if a player is found to have set bonuses that will result in a DQ of their match.

Voodoo- nah just don't want people to spend tons of money on generic IOs or low level sets untill their toon hits 50, and they can slot it up properly.
Justaris- The build looks fine, very expensive but fine. As long as you are willing to put that kind of inf into it I'm all for it. Get your character as high as you wish, just please do not slot anything other then SOs.

I would do the build as its designed? I actually put the powers in the order you should pick them as well as the slots.

Here is how you want Blind Slotted:
Level 1: Blind -- Dev'n-Acc/Dmg(A), Dev'n-Acc/Dmg/Rchg(33), Dev'n-Dmg/EndRdx(43), Decim-Acc/Dmg(43), Decim-Dmg/EndRdx(43), Decim-Acc/Dmg/Rchg(45)
At level 20 I will only have 1 slot in it, so what should I put in it?

Basically my question is... with you telling us not to slot for any set bonuses early on, do you want to give us an example of a "mid level NON- IO" build?
Also since -kb IOs are very cheap (less than 2 mill) are those off limit? Or just off limit for the first practice time?

So is the rule "SOs only" or is the rule "No Set Bonuses" (meaning generic IOs okay)?
Is frankenslotting okay? Or would that also be an unfair advantage?
For now I'll plan on just SOs until/unless I hear differently.

Masque- Since I'm going to be foolish enough to run a Dom, that means I'm red side in the current scenario. Would it be permissible for me to run a Dom up to 20 gold side and turn blue(I would use a 2nd build for PvP)? I ask this because I don't know about the rest of you kids, but I've always found it much easier to get the accolades blue side than red. (i.e. Atlas Med., TFC, Portal Jockey, FPR)
Also, I definitely need a build for this (mind/fire) as the last Dom I played was before the Dom changes, was for PvE, and IMHO, stunk. It was an iso toon that once I hit 50, I ran from as if it were about to explode.

Philly: Yes we will be running accolade teams. However, as flux said I also find blue easier then red, but we will try to do be as fair as possible to both sides.

However, you will now need to global rename to CatScan.
My goal in this is for you all NOT to have to go pve-ing on a pvp toon, because sometimes they just do not work well in PvE. This is why I am offering acclerated xp obtainment teams where I will do the work you just need to show up. The "Target Level" will be set by what the majority of people are at (again another reason why it is important for me to either have you in a sg where I can see your level or for me to be able to contact you to know what your current threat level is).
I believe I told you this on VB lastnight Voodoo, the target level for the first meeting on the 13th will be 20. If it wasn't on VB then It must have been to the team of Boot Camp participants I was on a team with lastnight.
As far as people getting xp on their own, I would actually rather they did not, because if you get to 15 and come to practice and THEN get a viable pvp build you may have selected some powers that you really don't need/want.
Will create my guy and do what I can for the leveling; I'm more than comfortable with a dual build. Time in-game is pretty limited however. And believe it or not, I've done decently in solo PvP with several builds I use for PvE. How that would translate into a group, who knows, but I'd like to think I've gotten a fairly decent grasp on this game by now. Meaning I can't imagine going too far off kilter of what you'd might be worried about.
If you are worried about a power pick or slotting here or there for a team-specific build (for me or anyone), any basic approaches you would like to see taken? Range vs melee attack? Power pools to avoid depending on the AT and/or power combo in use? Basic IO bonuses to shoot for (tho I probably won't be devling into that until I see how things play out).
BTW, I like to ask questions.
