We can talk about what you want to play now.. and we will start doing xp teams as soon as possible I think the 1st offical meeting will be either next weekend or the weekend after depending on when I can get ahold of everyone and practice will start then.

I talked to Ele about this today, he says he definitely wants to do this; we're both open to roll anything that the team needs.
Also I can offer my assistance with accelerated xp gaining to a certain degree. I may have earned one or two xp points in my day... quickly.
Since it is usually one of the less popular toons, I would be up for a psi/emp troller or emp/mind defender. I rather enjoy playing support.

Ryxx I think emping would be too easy for you, as you have done a fair bit of kinning in your time. Im drafting you and ele as blasters for now. Honestly since you guys can both obtain quick xp you can roll 2 toons for this league.

I'm interested in playing either a Dom for disruption or an Empath for healing. I've made two characters - an Earth/Fire Dom and an Illusion/Emp 'troller. I'll play whichever you elect to assign me. I could also play both, but I'll leave that up to you, Masque.
At the moment I'm leaning more towards playing the Empath, by the way, if you're indifferent.

Yes, However you can always toggle it up and follow your 'target' when they land as long as you are in range it will fire off.

The empath is fine. I have tried to secure us some vet healers to help with team survivability but we would still like to have more join VFNs (Victory Fight Nights) so I will put you down as 'healer'.

Since we are now full, I will be contacting people about what they would like to play this season. We will start leveling as soon as I hear from and approve their choice of PvP toon (again this is not to be a jerk, but to make sure everyone has a viable character that they will be able to pvp on).
1st Offical Practice will be November 12th at 9pm EST.We will be moving this practice to Friday due to a conflict with PERC's auction on Saturday.

- Team selection, remember that we will rebalance at least once during the season.
- I will talk to each person individually about what role your character will play in a team setting and solo pvp.
- Builds will be available for people who stayed with the suggested builds (psi/em, ss/elec, mind/fire, grav/ta). If we talked and you are rolling something different I most likely will not have a build for you but we can talk about what is needed/works in pvp and either I can make you a build in the next few weeks or you can if you feel very strongly about it. Maybe I was the only one confused, but "practice night" is not for the leveling. For this night, the 12th, you want people to be what level? I know it isn't a big deal for this one, but to get an idea of what to forward-think about.

"Target Levels" will be very different in event then in other groups such as Isolaters. I will be adjusting the matches and practices based on where everyone has gotten level-wise.
My goal in this is for you all NOT to have to go pve-ing on a pvp toon, because sometimes they just do not work well in PvE. This is why I am offering acclerated xp obtainment teams where I will do the work you just need to show up. The "Target Level" will be set by what the majority of people are at (again another reason why it is important for me to either have you in a sg where I can see your level or for me to be able to contact you to know what your current threat level is).
I believe I told you this on VB lastnight Voodoo, the target level for the first meeting on the 13th will be 20. If it wasn't on VB then It must have been to the team of Boot Camp participants I was on a team with lastnight.
As far as people getting xp on their own, I would actually rather they did not, because if you get to 15 and come to practice and THEN get a viable pvp build you may have selected some powers that you really don't need/want.
Again, these characters should be designed for PvP in mind and as such I will try to assist you with build advice and help. If someone is planning on a making a toon that is a pve/pvp build or a pve build that they can pvp on, the only thing is going to happen is you will end up hurting your teams chance of winning matches.
I will be on again tonight for anyone who has cleared a build and is ready to get a few levels.
Note:
Psi/em build posted on the PvP university thread- this build is cheap (probably looking at 500-800 million) compared to most psi/em builds out there (my two are in excess of 5ish billion each).

I should add that people who can get quick xp or dual box do not need to wait for me to team with them, I just want them to have a pvp build ready so when they level up they are selecting the appropriate powers.
I will be making a post shortly about the plan for characters.
This is looking like we will start the 2nd week of November, I will start doing invites, talking to people about their builds and offering some teaming opportunities for acclerated xp obtainment next week.
