Breast Size in Game: Too Big?

It's a Superhero comics based game, not a real life simulator.
Take a look at all the comics out there and then compare the breasts of those heroines to CoH's...

Realistically? Too big. Although physically possible, of course.

In the super-hero genre? Appropriately sized.

They could make the range greater on the lower end though. I'm sure a few people would use it.

It's true that women in super hero comics are drawn to look sexy. I'm not positive it's entirely an issue of subjugation to male fantasy though. Take a look at the popular Halloween costumes out there. Many women like dressing sexy, and the concept of being "the hot girl" appeals to them. The character I more rarely see real life women want to identify with is the vanilla Lois Lane "hero's girlfriend" type. Or maybe I just hang out with particularly rambunctious women. Case in point, the last time I let one of my female friends play CoH unsupervised I ended up with a character on my account who looked like a cross between a cop, a cat girl, and a street walker.

As for me personally, I'm a gay guy, so the breast slider is a sexual non-issue, and yet based on the costumes you posted your friend would not like my costumes either. My "Joan of Arkansas" character, who I don't think anyone would think was sexualized in any way, has the maxed breasts because her armor looks unshapely without it; I wanted the clear shape of a woman there, and the maxed breasts was the best way I could do it. On the other hand my "Attila the Honey" character is intentionally over the top hot, but I left the slider at a more reasonable 75% because being dressed in what essentially consists of a Medieval bra and fishnet panties gets the look across. I didn't touch the sliders at all for "Quick Brown Fox" but the pretty much not there outfit definitely makes her look the most outrageous of the three. Let your friend say what she will about guys always wanting to max the sliders, but it's definitely not always a sexual thing.

My only problem is that City of Boobs dont look all that good on the max slider due to the oldness of the game or else I'd put all my chicks on max if I could. As it stands they are all above average (yes I even lowered the boob slider on seri ) Boobs in CoH just aren't soft looking enough for me. /shrug

Somewhat off topic but is there someone somewhere who can even tell the following characters apart, and do you feel bad about not being to do so?

Heh. Yeah, the only one I can for sure point out is Aladdin, and that's due to skin color and Arabic outfit, the rest are all white European guys with the same face LOL

Hmmm...all my female toons are short, slim..push the sliders all the way to the, err, left?

Reading all this makes me want to cart one off to Icon, and punch the chest sliders all the way to the ..right..left? The bigger side.

Hmmmmm again..wonder if she will tip over with all that unbalanced weight

Well, I mentioned this post to that friend and told her some of the things said, and as I figured she doesn't give a rat's behind what you "nobodies" think, and she swears up and down the only reason I made this thread was for sympathy and pity, and here is a quote...

You don't have to tell her to f*** off - just say "whatever" as dismissively as you can whenever she says a word

Maybe the Devs should make a breast-augmentation super-booster...

The boob slider was unfortunately unaffected by ED, making female chests totally unbalanced.

On a more serious note, the default settings make the breasts a bit ridiculous in size, not to speak of anything made larger that seem to defy gravity. I wouldn't mind the far left of the current scale coming closer to the middle, either by "adding" more of the lesser chest sizes or removing some of the right-wing choices.

Is there something wrong with unnaturally large, perky ta tas?
