Is anyone still reading this?

I order the paperback volumes so I don't get to read each issue as it comes out.

I don't read it monthly, but I pick up the Ultimate Invincible volumes as they come out. I like being able to read a nice long arc, and enjoy the large format.

I started reading Invincible about a month ago. I've finished Vol. 3 of the TBPs but I'm stalled because my FLCS is out of Vol. 4 and I haven't gone to any of the others in town yet. I'm really enjoying it so far.

it's a solid story. ive got the 1st Ultimate volume and have a few issues here and there. im going to buy the other volumes as i get the cash. they do tend to be a bit on the expensive side.

I remember when my store was still open, and I was ordering for us. It was typical of my boss to slice my numbers down to the bare bones if anything at all on these "new, indie" books... o.o But it was one of the few titles that, while other mainstream books were tanking and sales slumping, I literally doubled the orders every single month and ALWAYS sold out. Every time. Until my boss closed the store down which sucked.

I follow him on Deviantart, such a great artist and lots of fine story telling. I haven't had the money to buy the tpbs though, which means I'm about... 4 years behind on the story now. :/

Please read my FEAR/Portal/HalfLife Fan Fiction!

This. But I don't and never have read anything monthly. It is *great* and definitely worth picking up. I've introduced it to quite a few people, even others who aren't into comics or superheroes, and they've all loved it. First half of the first ultimate collection is the slowest, but still really good, and it only gets better from there.

Eh, I really don't see that much connection to JLA/Avengers.

At least nothing that screams, "This is a parody of X character!". At least not more than a superficial level.

And the idea of a officially sponsored super-team is hardly unique to JLA/Avengers.

There was about 2 pages in the first collection where he intentionally parodies the JLA, but it's for a good reason, and and doesn't matter in any way after that point really. To be honest, it was a very good parody... His other characters are very unique, and interesting and fun.
