Do the Halloween Tip Missions require you to be different alignments? Or can a hero stay a hero and get all the badges?

You can get all 5 as any alignment - at the end, you get a reward choice window, and all 5 choices were available to me as a Hero in my most recent play-through pof the mission.

Once again, someone's (this time me) gonna says that the costumes aren't counting for badges (I have 13 on the toon I'm testing with, the badge counter is stuck at less than 10).

Also, is the Holloween Tip mission even dropping anymore? I've been playing for hours now, have Halloween Salvage up the wazoo, but haven't gotten the tip mission at all.

Yes, I'm wearing a costume. In fact I've tried it with different costumes. Still not getting any Holloween Tips.

i just did the misson as a villian, got the popup at end to get choice. took a choice,got the power hungrey badge, but when i looked at it under recent,all was a small white square, no graphic

I tried this again today. It took forever to get a Tip to drop...and then I didn't get the Tip added to my list (which was empty). I /bugged it.

I did play the mission in the first patch, when it wasn't giving the reward menu. I can't say I think much of this. You have to grind doors to get Tips to grind missions to get badges. Are we having fun yet?

It's not even an interesting mission. You rush to the last room to fight the elite boss, trying to defeat him before the short timer expires and unleashes an ambush on you. And that's it. Beat the EB and the mission is over. Don't stop to admire the scenery, because time is short.

Admittedly, it can be a fast mission. You have an incentive to finish it in under five minutes. Some of my characters won't be suited to doing that, but others shouldn't have a problem with it. My Will/Mace tanker zipped right through the mission easily enough. Still. Rush to an elite boss fight. Really not my kind of fun.

I really have a hard time getting excited over getting these badges.

I was Tot in PI for over 3 hrs in costume and no Halloween tip, So I recopied the same toon to Test and tried it. Got a tip mish within first 6 minutes. I think that my original too which got a tip the other day aftr a couple hours but was bugged somehow mesed up some kind of mechenism for the original toon.

I just ran this again to see if anything about the mission difficulty had changed, and it had not. As such, the only penalty for taking your time and having the timer run out is that you will have to face a grand total, when solo and set to a virtual team size of one, of 15 Clockwork minions. They come in 5 waves of 3 minions each that each wait until you have cleared the previous one to spawn. In other words, there's really no need to rush it over difficulty.

Just a quick thought.... if I'm playing my WS wearing a costume and use dark nova or black dwarf, it counts as i'm wearing the costume or should i kill all the treats in human form?
