Need a new MM.

Ok, so I'm a bit bored and want to make another MM to last until I can respec my Warshade (Either my next Vet reward or I19)

After looking through my MM's that I currently have:

DS/Therm
Thugs/Traps x2
Necro/Poison
Bots/Trick Arrow
Ninja/Dark
Necro/Therm

I can't decide on a nice combo to roll up next... I'd prefer a Necro (Because of current ranged pet AI making me rage every now and then and not being a fan of Ninja) but I don't mind as long as I can have a bit of fun for a few weeks.

What fun combo do you think I should try?

I've been using a Thugs/Poison myself which is a lot of fun. Save the suicidal Arsonist, but I hear he gets a bit better after the second upgrade.

something/Storm perhaps? Maybe Demons/Storm.

Or go for something really different and do a Mercs/Pain.

Could try Mercs/Therm, the -Res and damage buffs would help em out, plus Achilles' Heel: Chance for -Res Debuff

I've heard good about bots/TA. I roll a Bot/dark and a nin/TA, and bot/TA seems like it would be great. There's a good guide in the guides section on them too.

I have a 50 Ninjas/Storms MM (with the Electrical Charge Mastery)
and I have to admit...... LOADS OF FUN
I also have a 30 Bots/Force Fields MM.....
I like it but man it can be a chore at times.

Necro/Storm is fun (mine's an undead pirate), and Necro/Dark almost feels like cheating with so many stacking debuffs and controls.

Demons/Dark is really nice. The demons are great all around pets and at least their AI works quite well, and /Dark makes them a lot harder to kill. They don't have quite the insane control and debuff of Necro/Dark, but the Demon Prince has some decent controls and demons tend to outdamage zombies. Plus since /Dark can put out so much to-hit debuff and fear (especially once you get Fluffy) having a bunch of -recharge from the ice demons adds another layer of debuff rather than just reducing their already pathetic chance to hit you.

Besides, Demons have personal attacks that are actually worth using (hit something with all three whip attacks and you debuff its resists about as much as Tar Patch)... what other MM can say that?

Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)
Mechmeister, level 50 Bots / Traps MM
FAR too many non-50 alts to name

My necro/dark has soloed 6 GMs so far. A demon/dark would almost certainly be able to do the same, possibly better.

Having lots of fun with my thugs/pain "Joker" homage, possibly due primarily to thematic reasons.

My Team Teleporting ninja/dark makes me imagine that mobs are screaming "OH &$%@#!!! NINJA!!!" all the time.

I enjoy my demon/therm, bots/ff, necro/storm and mercs/traps, too, all for various and sundry reasons.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

LOL, you and I need to team our necro/storms sometime. Mine, not surprisingly, is also an undead pirate. An obvious concept, really.

He's still a "baby" (hit lvl 16 today), but seriously, look me up on JFA 2010 sometime.

Yeah, I actually "cursed" the devs during the closed beta for this... for "making" me take more than one personal attack on an MM. Partly because a) yes, the attacks ARE nice from a utilitarian standpoint, and b) they just plain look freaking awesome.

I've been very pleased with Ice StormSummoning/Mercs. With the SS you can move things out of melee range and the debuffs are strong. Also stuff like tornado will crowd control.

Gah... Why do MM's have to all be so awesome... Really hard to decide what to make...

As another concept, I had a second necro/storm who had recolored the storm set to a brown/tan, sand and dirt scheme. Now... if they'd just get around to giving us "wrapped" torso and legs (to go with the boots and gloves), my mummy necromancer would be good to go.

I think Necro/Storm is the way to go.

Of course, I 3-box, and I have a Necro/Storm trio. So its kinda unfair. But even a Necro/Storm soloer is great.

One of my Necro/Storm MMs is an Egyptian demi-god (he is not undead). One of them is a Drow Sorceress. I think the 3rd one is an Olmec or Aztec Priestess.

Good times!
