So...I like AE. Have a few arcs here and there. Something I've been contemplating but may or may not do is an arc that is explicitly meant to be Stalker friendly. What would everyone here suggest?

Click some glowies, defeat big bad, no escorting, no defeat all! But then, the tickets you get wouldn't be much.

[Edit: A good story is a given I figure]

"Defeat 100 bosses that don't have Lethal resistance."

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

This! LOL

Definitely no escort.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

... make every minion have Radiation Infection. Put a TON OF THEM EVERYWHERE.

Make the only way to complete a glowie at the end of the mission, guarded by a boss who does only Smashing damage.

My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor
"Dark Armor is a complete waste as a tanking set."

Does such an animal exist?

About the only thing that comes to mind are summoners. Death Shamans and Commnunications officers.

So what we need is, a summoner who is immune to mez and KB who spams lots of 0xp stuff, is resistant to all forms of damage except lethal. Lethal it takes +100% damage, has +120% to hit buff and spams -def and -res attacks that is auto hit and untyped damage.

H: Blaster 50, Defender 50, Tank 50, Scrapper 50, Controller 50, PB 50, WS 50
V: Brute 50, Corruptor 50, MM 50, Dominator 50, Stalker 50, AW 50, AS 50
Top 4: Controller, Brute, Scrapper, Corruptor
Bottom 4: (Peacebringer) way below everything else, Mastermind, Dominator, Blaster
CoH in WQHD

Oh, and the summon needs to be uninterruptible. Most aggro auras will interrupt a summon easier than a Stalker can.

Okay, playing to a Stalker's strengths...

Small numbers of tough enemies, preferably with some toggle debuffs, self-buffs and/or self-heals, so that a Stalker's damage spikes are useful in taking them down before they crush you/heal themselves. If you want to stop Blasters/Corrs steamrolling the same content for similar reasons, give them a bit of mezz, too. Avoid anything with +Perc, escorts, and player-centered or mid-fight ambushes.

Patrols that spawn ambushes if they aggro. Like that one Rikti Warzone mission where if you defeat the boss in the third ambush wave you lose the mission completely. Muhaha.

but I don't think we can do that level of detail in AE yet.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

I'd disagree on this. +Perception is good since people can get away with "lol dude just SS + IO". It's outright ignoring Stealth that's problematic and sadly the two are often confused.

I rolled a KM/DA stalker for the express purpose of soloing through the Praetoria content. She's been alot fo fun to play, and I'm excited to see how the changes to DA will work once I get CoF.

Anyhow, my wishlist:
-Indoor missions. Lots of blind turns, hiding spots, vators, etc. Lots of ways to Strike & Hide, esp in the pre-Placate levels.
-No +percep enemies. Stupid drones!
-No escorts.
-No allies. Personally, I hate dragging around NPCs, even if they pull their weight. I almost always try to ditch allies and just come back for them later if I need to the to complete the mission.
-No enemies with damage/debuff auras.
-Ambushes! I love watching an angry mob swarm in, then stand around scratching their heads.
-Good story, fun flavor text, emotes, etc. Dress it up. Nothing like having a target curse the heavens in your name after you stab them in the back. /warmfuzzies

Stay Gold, Paragon. Stay Gold.

These people saying no drones and +perc are telling you to make a boring stalker friendly arc.

The trick is making your +perc enemies a unique hazard for the stalker, and not something that spawns with normal enemy groups.

Think about it this way: Voids are kheldian kryptonite. They're part of what makes playing a kheld fun.

Similarly, your "sentry" mobs (preferably as patrols!) are part of what makes your stalkerbait arc fun.
